is injured and Denver could easily lose the next 3 games. If the Jazz can keep winning (the next 4) they could be within a game or so of first in the NW.

This will be a difficult emotional time for the Jazz. I thought they held their composure well so far.

Collins is playing hard as are most of the Jazz. He is trying to shoot (tends to get blocked) and rebound (better). I am not sure his play is better than K2's over all. However, K2 and Fez would get a lot more playing time in Orem. I think I would rotate them in Orem. There are going to be nights when K2 or Fez would be a better match up than Collins at back up. On the other hand if Boozer is getting 10-20 minutes there should be no need for Collins.

Millsap can get some much needed rest with Boozer back. His point production is still off but his rebounding is improving. It may take a while for Boozer to really produce.

Hey Mikki, we like you

PLEASE Jazz & KOC - do what you must to get Mikki Moore - waive/buy out Almond's contract (since you didn't pick it up anyway) to free up a rostewr spot and get Mikki NOW!

CL

Our young bigs need playing time, so it would be a good idea to send them to Orem.
I'd make that trade of Boozer for Scola and Artest in a heartbeat. Even though Artest probably would move on after the season. At least finacially it would be good, Scola and Milsap would make a good combo at PF.
I like Boozer and he make the Jazz a much better team but I'm worried about how we can keep all our players. Finacially we could have Scola and Milsap for the price of Boozer.

IDJazz

CL the trade deadline ended last week!!!!!

I am not sure I understand Sloan on these two guys. Both were and are working hard and both showed that they can compete on the floor so why send them south. I would put Collins and Almond in street clothes and give these two the time Collins has been getting lately. For some reason these two were doing great and fell off of Sloans radar. Same thing happened to Price.

Cautiously Optimistic

I think Sloan didn't like the attention put on the 'dance' contest with Fes and K2 - maybe that is why they are riding the pine more lately.

Re: CL

Artest? Seriously? I am a pretty true blue Jazz fan - only missed one game this whole season - but if the Jazz picked up Ron Artest, I wouldn't be able to watch anymore.

Shaybo

Keep Boozer, the same people who have been badmouthing him will be cheering him in a week or two.
Why is everyone so anxious to get rid of Almond? I just don't get it. Especially for the likes of Mikey Moore, he's not as good as AK or Milsap and several other's he would be competing with for PT.

Any time the Jazz have to take Okur out they should just go small, putting Collins in is just wasting PT.

BOOZER BOOZER BOOZER

MMA Artest

Artest should be traded to Vegas, home of Zuffa Ltd. and begin a promising future in Mixed Martial Arts.

To "Shaybo"

"Why is everyone so anxious to get rid of Almond?" ... "everyone" must obviously include the Jazz since they chose not to pick up his contract extension. Mikki Moore may not be as good as AK or Milsap but he is certainly better than ALL 3 of the back-up centers we have right now - Collins, Fez, and Koufos!

Mikki More plays center ...

NOT PF or SF so he wouldn't be competing for AK's or Milsap's minutes!

todd from santa ana

Mikki Moore i have talked about for weeks. I would grab him plus he knows our system. Waive Collins, it appears ALmond may be out of chances-he would play backup center 15 minutes or so a game, Mikki can play the man in the post and remember he is good from the line. Good little moves as an agile big man. I think it would be great, that is what i meant about just adding depth without needing a blockbuster deal,

A Sloan Hater

Raather than develop these young players with sloans's "great" coaching,

sloan would rather send them away.

let them play against lesser talent, where thet can never properly develop,

and never benefit from sloans "great" coachng.

Hnestly what has orem done for any player that has been sent there?

Besides save them from sloan's "great" coaching.

FDR

Can't believe what they did to Koufos. Ruined the kid's passion. This guy can play. When we play him with rotation he has do fine and so far ahead of Collins, of Fes. Ridiculous. Oh Coach, this kid K2 is a thoroughbred.
