Wait a minute! Zebra Mussels are natural! What does it matter if they replace another species, less fit, like trout? In Idaho the feds are replacing elk, moose and mule deer with wolves because wolves are "natural". Just like diphteria, small pox and polio are natural, right? Who are we to say, Zebra mussels, wolves, small pox, polio and diptheria should be removed?
Zebra mussels are from southeast Russia. Wolves are part of a healthy ecosystem here. Anyone who hates wolves is just worried they will bite their pocketbook somehow.
