Larry Miller will be missed, his friendliness, his demeanor and his character. I would like to personally thank Larry and his family for all the wonderful things he has done for our wonderful community, and for the families of the Wasatch Front. Thank You Mr. Miller. Sincerely,
Keith J. Wilson
Larry is a legend here and we will all continue to enjoy what he has brought us for years to come. Thanks for bringing the Utah Jazz to us, where me and my family have cheered them on for years and made many memories. Thank you for the world class theatres and all the business you have brought to Utah. Thank you for the role model you have been to me in my life as a youth. I now own my own business and hope to do half of what Larry accomplished. God Speed.
As a jazz fan and a resident of this state we owe a lot to Larry Miller and he will be missed by all. I remember growing up watching the jazz and you would always see Larry on the front row(well except for Sunday games) cheering just as loud as every other fan in the arena. You can not look anywhere in the Salt Lake Area and see Larrys influence. My prayers are with his family and all who have been touched by him. He will be missed.
Great people do great things and are usually greatly appreciated. That is Larry Miller! Larry was a great human being and servant to his God and man. We will miss him terribly but know his legend will live forever. Thanks Larry!
The Entire Orem Owlz Family wishes to express their sincere regret at the passing of such a great man. We all know we wouldn't have the success or the opportunities to enjoy professional sports in Utah without the dedication of Larry. We wish the best to Gail and the family and want them to know he is an icon, a friend and remarkable example to us all.
God bless you , Larry, you will be missed.
The State of Utah and the Nation lost a man true to himself and his beliefs, and for that we were honored to be part of his life.
The Ownership Group of the Orem Owlz
Thank you for all you have done for our community, Larry. Please don't forget us. We'll never forget you.
I've always looked up to Larry H. Miller as a man who cared more about so many things besides wealth. Running some businesses at a loss because he thought they were good for the community. He lived with a great passion. Thanks Larry for all that you've done. The world is worse off without you.
Larry H. Miller was a great man of integrity, honesty and values. Having listened to him frequently on a local sports radio program, I have a developed a great fondness towards the man. He was truly one of a kind. It may sound cliche, but we were all greatly blessed to have "known that guy".
Only Brigham Young had more impact on the State. An icon and Class-Act that will be greatly missed. Thank you Larry Miller!
C'mon y'all<<< Against all odds, let's make this year, OUR YEAR, let's do it for LHM :)!!!!! He's a winner & for all he's done, a championship is way past due. Our guys got the talent, just needed a greater purpose than themselves to win, now we got one...
Utah has lost a great entrepreneur,a visionary,a community leader and above all, a very kind and generous human being.
Our hearfelt sympathies to Gail and the Miller family.
Larry saved the Jazz in Utah and contributed to the lives of many in our state through his charity, generosity and the incredible amount of college scholarships he gave out. If anyone deserves a statue out front of the Energy Solutions Arena, it is Larry. I hope someday to walk into that building past his statue in front of the ones of John and Karl.
Larry, all the accolades you are getting are richly deserve. As i stated on the main post, i knew of some of your accomplishments for your state, but i could not believe after reading the impact. There are not many like you left, the love for your team and your state, help getting a beautiful building to play in, save this franchise from Vegas or god knows where else. Even though, I did not always agree with Jazz issues, your loyalty for the JAzz players, theyre families and the way you treated people-i just wish i could be there to listen and be around this weekend all the people lives you touched. I will be there in spirit.
Some people tell you they are going to do something and maybe it gets done. Larry Miller didn't have to tell you he was going to do something, he just did it and let us marvel at his ability to do the right thing.
We all will miss him.
I can't think of the last time I shed a tear for a man I never personally met, but Larry you will be missed.
I agree with Chepack, I admired Larry Miller when you find yourself emotional when a man you never met passes, you know he made an difference.
Larry seemed like a man who could tell it like it is and wasn't afraid to share his opinion or Lead his way.
I lost my father last year he would have been 61 last week. It's not easy sometimes but we have to learn and figure out how to carry their torch.
Thanks Larry best wishes to the Miller Family
Thank you for bringing the Jazz to Salt Lake. You will be missed.
This was a class act who stood for something. Thanks Larry.
and appreciate the many contributions Larry made over the years. He had the main attribute that we all need and that was charity. Owning the Jazz was not something that I admired but there was plenty else to be proud of.
Well done Larry.
The news on February 20th presented quite the opposites in humanity in the State of Utah.
In the morning we read about more hatred, descrimination, and bigotry directed towards another minority group by Chris Buttars. A man who represents just about the worst this state has to offer.
In the evening we read about the passing of Larry H. Miller, a man who represented just about the best Utah has to offer.
What a contrast. The former seems to work tirelessly to bring unhappiness to those who are different than himself. The latter who strived to do as much good for the people of Utah that he could.
It is a shame we lost a man like Larry H. Miller at such a relatively young age. Thank you, Larry- you will be missed.
