I will take a 4x4 animal style with a shake!

I'm sooooo excited! I miss In n Out so much that whenever we go to Vegas, we make sure we go for their hamburger instead of indulging on eat-all-you- can buffets or steaks which are everywhere. I hope they can bring in El Pollo Loco and Chow King Restaurant like what they have in California (and Vegas). Utah needs variety of restaurant and fast food choices.

El Pollo Loco

They do have an El Pollo Loco up here already...it is in American Fork/Lehi.

California Transplant

In-N-Out is one of the highlights of our trips back to California when visiting family. Hurray for Draper's news! I'm jealous that it isn't further north and in Salt Lake City proper, but tickled we can go for a great burger, heavenly fries and delicious shake more that once a year. Thanks In-N-Out big wigs!

Our family is soooooooooo excited about In-N-Out coming here, it's about time! My husband grew up in CA and every time we visit, In-N-Out is always one of our stops. In-N-Out will soon find they will have to build more here to keep up with the demand. I'm sure there will be lines around the block to eat there.

Bye-Bye Chadders! Woohoo!!!

The truth will set us free!

Seriously, Utah does not deserve and In-N-Out burger. The chain just lost some of their coolness.

what could have been.

To think I used to work at the wendys then the carls Jr across the street right there. I would have killed to be making $10 an hour and be serving (and eating) some good grub at In-N-Out...

Oops

"The first location was build in Washington."

Let's proofread our articles before printing them, DN.

Ripoff Ranch - Goodbye!

Chadder's days are numbered. I will say that when I went to Chadder's, I thought that maybe they weren't trying to rip off In-N-Out, because it wasn't anywhere near as good as the real thing.

We can thank Chadder's for putting the Wasatch Front on the In-N-Out radar; just not for their airball attempt at copying their food.

To Oops, read the article before commenting. It is talking about Washington, Utah, site of the first In-N-Out in Utah.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. I've eaten at In-N-Out Burger once, and have no desire to return. It was a very forgettable experience. If you're looking for an incredible burger, Crown Burgers is the only place to go.

CA resident; don't get the hype

Good burgers admittedly
Decent shakes too
Really bad fries, even extra crispy.

Don't really get the hype of "fresh" and why it is better. Isn't the stuff all fried and fast food anyways?

Whatever sells.

Yes, it's talking about Washington, Utah. Oops' point was how it read:

"The first location was build in Washington."

It should say 'built', not 'build'. Bad spelling/grammar on a word, but it makes the sentence look juvenile.

Either way, In-N-Out is finally coming to Northern Utah!

comments are GAY.

To GGCinAZ, the oops article wasn't talking about the "Washington" part but the fact that it says it was "build" in Washington when it should've read "built".

Best fast food burger chain is Blake's Lota Burger throughout New Mexico. Fresh, and tasty. The way burgers and fries are meant to be. The double meat, double cheese is my recommendation. Sure, it takes a few days off your life, but it's worth it. If you are a Utahn who puts fry sauce on your fries you might just want to stay in Utah. Or bring your own ketchup and mayo. Ugh.

Over-rated

In-n-Out can't hold a candle to Five Guys -- Five Guys has great burgers and the BEST fries ever! I won't be going to In-n-Out. I'm saving my calorie overload for Five Guys!

Born and raised in CA

In-N-Out is incredibly over-rated, and has only become about the "it factor" rather than anything decent about its food. I've eaten there so many times since I was a little kid, born and raised in L.A. People are only crazy about it because it's not available here. I can easily name a dozen or more places with far, far better burgers, fries and shakes throughout Utah and Salt Lake counties - without the "experience" turning into a 90 minute lunch break (yep, it will be that way for several months while all the idiots realize the food is nothing special). I'm glad it's coming because it will make the lines shorter at all the other places that are far superior in taste and quality.

Please forgive me for being coy about this, but I can't cite my sources. But I know of at least two other locations -- both in Utah County -- where In & Out is currently negotiating for land. There are probably others. Looks like they are planning to enter the Utah market in a big way (and look out, Chadders -- one of those locations is VERY close to you).
