HEyyy DIS IS A SHOUT OUT TO MAH BRO LATUH HEIMULI!! WAY TO GO BRO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
What a joke!!!! Couldn't get any of the elite from Cottonwood High School to sign with you. Keep trying maybe you will get lucky next year??? Ha! Ha!
With all the BYU and Utah fans arguing about who has the better class, let's all remember who actually proved it on the field. BYU fans- yes, you always get great QB, TE, and LB play; but you are severely lacking in speed and athleticism. Utah had better athletes at 18 of the 22 positions. Enough said.
Utah Signed Percy from CWOOD, get your facts right before you post. You must be a Y fan huh.
Latuh,
Contracts from Texas!
Go Utes!
From reading the stats on several of the recruits they did pick up, it seems to me that they will be quite fine without any of the Cottonwood High athletes on your pedestal.
Only ONCE in the last three has Utah "proved it on the field." That would mean TWICE in the last three years, BYU has "proved it on the field."
So much for Utah having better athletes.
In 2009, BYU will make it three of the last four in which the Cougars have "proved it on the field."
If your going to start playing that game Utah has proven who is better in 5 of the last 7. Including 4 in a row
Yes, Utah beat BYU last year and was the better team, but you all seem to have forgotten that Harlene and Collie are still open and BYU is a program on the rise. BYU is slowly increasing its depth, talent level, and speed just like the Utah. Obviously, they don't have as much speed as Utah and TCU, but that ain't everything. It should be a real battle with BYU, Utah, and TCU each year. The home team usually has the advantage (see Utah this year...no way they beat TCU at their place)...last I looked BYU plays both at home next year.
HHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Name ONE position this recruiting class that Utah has better recruits than BYU, Besides MAYBE DB's and actually BYU wisened up and got good DB's this year. I seriously want to hear you say with a straight face ANY spot that is VASTLY superior to BYU.
only team in the COUNTRY to go undefeated twice in the last 5 seasons. put that in your cougar pipe and smoke it!
The TWICE in 3 years came with late game heroics. The ONE in three was an unquestioned BLOWOUT !!! By the way "KRUGER IS STILL OPEN" !!!!!!!
How about only twice in the last 7 years has BYU proved it on the field.
pretty sure BYU won 2 of the last 3. Need to do some research use google. Byu had a trmendous recruiting class and filled there biggest holes, and are bringing in speed and athleticism, look for at least a few years of domination from the cougs coming up.
I will acknowledge the fact that Utah recruited very strong at Defensive Line this year, I won't argue that is the strongest spot they have, and they also did fairly well at Defensive Back. But the other positions AVERAGE AT BEST, period. Utah likes to think they're the best at everything but they are average at every other spot. BYU is MUCH BETTER at every other spot BUT DB. The DB's in this years class at the Y are actually comparable to the U's. The only glaring difference position strength wise I think from this years recruiting standpoint is Defensive Line. BYU is as good or better at EVERYTHING ELSE.
They got Aiono, they don't need your second-rate Cottonwood players. Utah is elite enough they can go out of state where there are better players.
Don't worry the pootes are due for a blowout this year, and Kruger isn't open anymore he joined the NFL.
Hey BYU fans. At least it is basketball season now.
Oh wait... You lost to Utah there too.
Oh well men's volleyball might be something to look forward to since Utah only plays real sports.
GO UTES!!
Better athletes? It's kind of tough to prove. If you look at the last four years, the series was evenly split. Better coaching? I definitely think that Utah holds the edge there. Changing up your offense and defense depending on whom you play is what BYU needs to do. I laud BYU's "consistency" the past few years (11-2,11-2,10-3 is great, but Top 10 programs do what Utah did last year, except they do it more frequently than once very four years). The edge goes to Whittingham and his National Championship ring (won at BYU in 1984) until Bronco learns to ATTACK on defense and SHOCK AND AMAZE on offense.
...are the BYU fans who stay up to midnight so they can post trash talk about the Utah recruiting class. Trying getting a life of your own instead of living vicariously through a mediocre college football program.
