Good stuff

These sound like fantastic recruits. Congratulations to Bronco and boys.

I would really like to see an article about the juggling and planning that goes into the recruiting at BYU where you have to factor in 50% of the players serving missions and how that effects recruiting and balance. The effort would take a thinking mind, and we are talking football.

My Bad

Kyle Van Noy, Adam Hine, Jray Galea'l and Lee Aguire are now listed.

Van Noy is a huge grab for BYU.

Some of these RB's WILL see playing time and all in all, it looks pretty darn good.

I doubt Xavier out of Timpview will sign with BYU. He is a great kid and as a BYU fan, I wish him well in all his endeavors.

Teo To Notre Dame

Manti Teo signs with Notre Dame. We simply don't get or keep the LDS 5-stars for some reason. But we still have an excellent group of kids with some solid 4-stars. And we all know the 1 and 2-stars may actually turn out to be the real stars in the end. Wherever the LDS kids go I wish them well and enjoy following their careers. Go Cougs and Go Utes except for every last weekend or so in November - when we will destroy you!!

?

Did Adam Timo change his name to Adam Hine

YAY COUSIN!!!

DIS IS A SHOUT OUT TO MY COUSIN ANTHONY HEIMULI!!! WAY TO GO YOU MADE IT TO BYU!!! YOU WILL BE PLAYIN AGAINST YOUR 1st COUSIN LATU HEIMULI FROM UTAH WHICH IS MY BROTHER!!! LOVE YAH LOTz!!!

*LINI HEIMULI*

CougarKeith

Quit crying about the Notre Dame Signing, We had Jim McMahon so what is all the crying about? What comes around goes around! I'll take that trade in a New York Minute!!! Look what it got us, he was awesome!!! A bit of a renegade, but look what he did while he was here?

Way to go Bronco and BYU, I think we have a great shot at a BCS bowl game again this year, we lost that loser Austin Collie who doesn't fulfill his commitment to TEAM, School, Coaches, Fans or himself, but we have Chambers and he will more than make up for Collie if given the chance, along with the others! I think we can do it!!!

Preparation is 90% of the game and Perspiration is another 60%!!! So everybody needs to know it takes 150% effort!!! No Let Downs this year even after we beat Oklahoma! We can do it!!!!!!!!

Hey Cougs

Sounds like X out of Timpview will be signing with the Utes the top recruit out of Utah that means Utah has the only two 5 STAR recruits in the MWC goodluck beating the Utes in upcoming years

Good class

The team is in good shape, the offense is completely stacked, especially at the running back spot with the guys already on the team, and the new guys coming in. Receiver is doing well too, and the O-line simply will need experience to be great, but the talent is there. The defense is starting to build depth finally at DB and the DL is good. Linebacker is good for this year but that spot will get shot next year. the 2011 season has all the great 2008 guys back from missions. 2010 is looking to be a challenging year but if we can make it to 2011 we are in good shape to keep the conferenece championships rolling in. 2009 could possibly be our chance at a BCS game!

friend

Adam Timo just changed his last name to Hine(pronounced Hinae) which is his mothers maiden name. His parents have been seperated for some time.

PRC

Check it X signed with UCLA! Too bad yewts and Coogs !

Re: Hey cougs

Look like you jumped the gun a bit. X is going to UCLA.

Knowwhat

Can you say Norm Chow

Here comes another good year for the Cougs! I feel good about another 10-2 year but I am hoping for 11-1!

Cougs good day

Seeing X got to UCLA did not hurt so much when you look at the O-line class BYU brought in. It is deep and really good. Losing Te'o to Notre Dame stings a little since he chose to bring glory to the Catholic school over the LDS school, but I wish him well. LT FIliaga hurts the most out of those 3 as he chose Utah over BYU. Losing a player to Utah stinks, but I understand he has 2 brothers at the U, so I get it.

BYU has a much deeper class of incoming freshmen. The Utes opted to get more JC players. But really, you just gotta win on the field.

BYU beats Utah in 2009!

LDS 5-stars

I like our class of signees. But it seems painfully obvious that the 5-star LDS recruits either don't come or don't stay. There haven't been a ton of them to begin with but I can't remember one who signed and stayed with the Cougs.

Utah's signing of JC players mean they will get the most immediate bang for the buck. BYU will see 80-90% of these kids leave either before or after their freshman season. So their impact won't be felt until Utah's have made their mark and graduated. Today reinforces the fact that there is probably not a more difficult football program to coach at in the country. Thanks Mendenhall for putting such a great product on the field despite all the limitations.

DB

I like all the tiny little 5'10" DBs that were signed, they'll do great against the 6'5" WR they have to guard.

Why should an LDS kid have to sign at BYU? He's going to the place that he thinks will give him the best opportunity to play in the NFL.

hahah u call that a good siging class.. how bout those utes!! im feelin another undefeated season

Provo Fan

We're so proud of you Tui!! You'll do great at BYU!

I like what your saying

I like what cougar fan has been saying of late: "I like our class of signees" "BYU beats Utah in 2009" "Here comes another good year for the Cougs" "2009 could possibly be our chance at a BCS game"

Hopefully, not only do they keep this wish list growing, but maybe another t-shirt will come out of it.
The fact is that Utah will accomplish what ever kitten fans dream up! I see Utah having another GREAT year with all the zoobs predictions!

We should

we should win a national championship with this group.
