Per the article:

"Jeffs' court-appointed attorney, Natalie Malonis, said the case was not over, however.

Malonis filed a counter-petition in January, seeking to place restrictions upon Jeffs ..."
============================================

To my mind this speaks volumes bout Malonis. Witch at work. Sitll pursuing Teresa as "her" client, even though the custody battle with the state is over. You just have to wonder bout Malonis's mental stability.

SNICKY LITTLE DEVIL'S WORDS

WORDS THAT TRIGGERED THE TEXAS CPS RAID STILL THE SAME

"It's difficult to even evaluate the risk to my client because there's so little information about how the group works and who controls what," she said. "Maybe if I had that information it might be clear to me that she's fine in the situation she's in. I'm not asking for anything real drastic. I'm not."

Oh Brother

And what exactly, after 9 months of investigation HASN'T been uncovered that is still causing Malonis 'fear and trembling.'

Get over it Malonis. The girl is fine and safe.

I'm not at all sorry you're losing your 'claim to fame.'

polygamy is evil

The Texas trials starting up in October will tell all.

RE: polygamy is evil

Yep, they'll have to try to convict the men with no witnesses, and no so called 'abuse' cases left. If there are no victims, there is no crime. Even CPS has admitted that fact, and you're still trying? Get rid of your hate, and start living. Live and let live. I'm sure the FLDS have never hurt you, or anyone you know, so leave them alone.

leave it alone

Save our resources and energy for those who WANT and NEED our help.

IT's over-- move on.

Since when is a church responsible to fund an almost adults life on an ongoing basis? What possible reason could she have? I mean sometimes parents continue to support their adult children because they love them and want them to go to college or whatever....but trying to force the parents CHURCH to do it? Can you even imagine the implications of such a thing?

Plato

Texas has failed to prove their case for abuse!!! The FLDS people may not fit the standard southern baptist profile preferred by the "good ole boy" Texas social order, but statistics clearly show that FLDS children are much safer than the average Texan's...

re: RE: polygamy is evil

More like, there are no 'victims' because Warren Jeffs has done a really good job of controlling his flock, even from jail. He has dictated pretty much everything about their lives, from where they live and who they talk to, who they marry and when, what they wear and even how much they weigh (gotta love it when your own church leader gives you an eating disorder because of his hatred for 'chubby' people).

FLDS members believe that they and their children belong wholly to Warren Jeffs. And Warren Jeffs has married girls as young as 12 years old. We're supposed to believe this is a healthy society that isn't harmful to children? Give me a break!

I'm not sure I agree with the idea that 'polygamy is evil' but the FLDS certainly makes a case for it.

realitycheck

Just the fact that the FLDS think that their leader Warren Jeffs is a prophet tells me they are out of control and their children have no future.

Hiding their people in the desert with no future and forcing girls to marry someone they don't love is abuse. When will they figure that out?

So much for God's gift of free will....

RE: reality check

The FLDS are not hiding in the desert. Talk to some one who knows...first hand....not some bitter ex-member. Anyone who only looks at one side of the story is a fool.
