Rep. Clark

Clark is a man full of integrity. If Utah is looking for someone to do the right thing, even though that will not always be the easiest thing to do, Clark will do it.
Clark for Gov 2012!

Don't Agree

Let's see VP of Zion's Bank, yet he led the attack against the credit unions for several years. Sounds like a huge conflict of interest to me. Sorry but I don't see a lot of integrity there. Perhaps had he excused himself from the credit union issues rather than leading the charge, I would have a better opinion of the man.

re: Rep. Clark

Clark will have a lot of competition for the Guv slot if he wants it in 2012. Who's going to emerge as the leading candidate for that position? Does Clark have what it takes?

WOW!

I watched Rep. Clark's speech this morning and I was blown away. Not only is he articulate, but he is also not afraid to take on those whose actions he disagrees with. I had no idea how bright this guy was until I listened to other legislators out in the hall talk about the budget. Every one of them said that they were worried about the current fiscal health of the state. However, each one of them said that it would be okay because "Dave was the Speaker now, and if anyone knows state finance and could fix this mess it is him." I echo the first commenters sentiments, Clark for Gov. in 2012!

Tom

Speaker Clark is a light at the end of a dark tunnel of corrupt Utah legislative leaders, past and present. I hope he chooses to either run for Hatch's senate seat or Huntsman governorship; he would be excellent.

The right man

Speakr Clark is willing to make tough decisions that benefit Utah. His fiscal responsibility is why we will be able to get through the budget problems that we are facing. (Gov. Huntsman made the problem worse by not calling a special session in November or December)

Blown Call

Not making a call is making a call. Ask Herbert.
