It was a great game tonight. Both teams played really well but I'm glad riverton came out on top. Riverton plays good team basketball and I hope to see them keep doing well and bring that kind of play into state

Region 3 is a 3 team race. All three of these teams can beat each other on any given night. Home court has been a big advantage to Riverton in their first two region games. It will be interesting to see how they play when they travel to Bingham and West jordan. I have watched all three of these teams play and Riverton is playing the best team ball right now. Their perimeter shooting has been outstanding and they play defense with a lot of energy. West Jordan will struggle if you can shut down Weirick and Gallegos but that is a tough chore. The Jaguars are also vertically challenged in the post. Bingham is inconsistent. They have great post players but have struggled from the perimeter. Last night against C hills Binghams guards shot well. Girsberger is their best and most consistent shooter.

I think not. I've been waiting all year for Gallegos and Sawyer to impress consistantly. Although talented, neither player plays with much energy/urgency.

If I could bend Sawyer's ear, I would tell him to be more focused come tip off, realizing that your the key/glue that's got to make it happen for your team. Be a bulldog! Be consistant and step up your game from start to finish. As a great point gaurd goes, so goes his team!

I'm going to be watching and cheering for the Jaguars during the second half of region III play and hope that WJs so called D1 kids finally figure out what it takes to be crowned a champion on the court.

West Jordan was and still is my dark horse to claim Utah's top prize, but my confidence is waining.

Sean Neilson of Riverton is getting a little bit a head of himself. Riverton and WJ are good teams, however don't count Bingham out. Look at the history, Riverton has nothing to be talking about yet. they have done nothing in State in any sports. Close doesn't count for anything, Region and State trophies do.

K who cares about the past what binghams record this year?????

Looks like a tight race to me ? Record overall doesn't matter right now. Riverton will fold as they always do. Same with the girls at Riverton. They dominate during the season and fold at state. WHAT MATTERS IS THE STANDINGS AT THE END OF THE SEASON !!!!!!

Ok well riverton already beat your Bingham team.. We know they are a good team and we aren't counting you out. You have a chance to take region just like riverton and west Jordan do.. Who cares bout the past. We are looking forward to this year and hope riverton keeps playing good team basketball. Good luck to your team and the rest of the region.. My point was Nielsen was making it look to WJ and Riverton as the region 3 champs, Bingham was not even in the picture. Also, 30 years ago ? What about the last 10 years / Region 3 champs over and over and State Champs. Do you guys even look at facts before you talk.

Wow if it makes you feel better to bring up the past then go ahead. Riverton hasn't even been a school for ten years and have done more than you guys could when only three schools seemed to exist in 1908. But go ahead and keep talking about the trophies you've finally won in ONE HUNDRED YEARS. Riverton will keep playing hard despite.

I'm glad they have finally gave a little nod to the importance of defense, which in my humble opinion seems to win games. Riverton plays great defense, and THAT is what is winning their games! Keep it up wolves!
