Last year I was hospitalized and almost died from a severe asthma attack because of poor air quality. Who do I sue if this happens again? That is if I survive if it happens again. Time to move I guess...
Every citizen along the Wasatch Front with a vehicle should take action to reduce emissions...more TRAX and UTA usage, more walking, biking instead of driving, low emission vehicle purchases, etc. It just takes individual effort and extra planning, not rocket science...
Better do something soon! Remember the stigma that Denver had when they were labelled "worst air in the country"? Put yourself in a conventioneer's shoes...would you EVER have another convention in SLC if your people had to breath the stink? Would you locate your business in the valley?
I always find it humorous that when "real" air quality people get together to discuss "real" air quality issues, second-hand tobacco smoke is not even on the agenda.
