I heard he has a green card so that he will not count as an international. If this is true, it is a gamble worth taking. his goal rate his senior year is amazing for a mid.
I'll be the first to say that the front office and coaching staff have definitely made me scratch my head at times, and this is one of those times. However, I believe that they know what they are doing, even if i don't. After guiding us to the Western Conference Final, they've earned my faith. GO RSL
I'm not too worried about the draft pick right now because you don't really plan on getting a Superstar. That being said what is RSL going to do about their glaring issue at the forward position. Especially where this kid isn't a forward. Please let there be a signing soon.
He wasn't playing as a mid in college, he was playing as a striker.
I think the chance of grabbing a true superstar in the draft are very slim, and any pick could go either way. I am glad RSL took a chance on him and will fit their scheme well.
I completely trust Kreis after last season.
Alexandre is a hard worker, blue collar type of college kid and very versatile, he made the Haitian team last year among players in first divisions in France, Netherlands, and Portugal.
I hope is able to win the fans soon.
soccer teams are not made by drafts. they are made by good executives, coaching, and the buying and selling of players. we need to be getting players on loan from europe or signing young players from europe. the mls needs to face the fact that for the time being we are just a stepping stone to larger leagues in europe. my hope is that some day US soccer will always be in the top 10 of international soccer.
