The inaugration of the President of the USA is more important and newsworthy than some film festivals. It *should* be that way, even if the movie stars dont think so!

They should not compete or feel slighted if they chose to have their film festival on inauguration weekend.

Especially since this is an historic one, whether you like/voted for this man or not. I'm not putting him on a pedestal yet, he has to climb up there himself by virtue of his presidential leadership.

I agree with your sentiment but all Presidential swearing ins are "historic". Each is a part of history. I think this one is more POPULAR. I hope he is the best President ever and I salute any citizen who wanted to attend, even famous ones.
Yeah good Idea. | 1:28 p.m. Jan. 20, 2009
Get the 411 from the movie stars. They understand Oboma as well as anyone...they are all celebrities, they think they know something about politics but they don't, they have all done wads of drugs and admit it and most importantly Americans love them becasue the media makes them look good.

The one thing that is different is that the media actully exposes soem of the movie stars faulst where thay didn't reveal any of the crapm obama has done.

come on Deseret News, do ya really think anyone cares what the Holywood flakes were doing today? Geez, I am so sick of all this cotton candy fluff about Obama. All I know is the guy better be the real deal and not some liberal Jimmy Carter do over.
