I'm sorry, but we're such a shallow society when so much of news print and air time is devoted to what Michele Obama is wearing, and what style she is going to wear to this and that, and what style she is going to bring to the White House. When millions are losing their jobs and wondering where their next paycheck is coming from to put food on the table, its a bit sickening and disgraceful for the media and shallow public (Obama voters) to fixate upon. Hey, Target is good enough for the middle class. Why should we reward elitism when the Obamas campaigned on standing up for the lower classes? OK, so I don't expect her to wear T-shirts and jeans to the inauguration. And an occasional feature story would be OK. But, geeshhh... c'mon. Too much already!!
She defiantly has a strange face and stance. Her dress style is anything but elegant. She will never stand up to Jackie O. But you can't judge a book by a cover, she is probably a wonderful person, and that's what counts.
I thought the July 2008 of The New Yorker featuring Michelle and Obammy on the cover, were far more accurate of not only their style but their ideology as well.
Nice to know your face and stance aren't strange.
This months New Yorker has a better source to place your judgements on. I think we have our own version of the worlds most watched and adored couple... in the makings, and similar to Diana: The People's Princess.
I like her... She's no Jackie,Grace, or Diana.. She is MICHELLE.
Michelle is stunning. Her style is classic, but with some modern updates. Add to that her intelligence and it's no wonder their daughters are a beautiful as they are.
Hot or not?
Not.
Considering Michelle's background in Law and Healthcare.... She is hotter than a firecracker, and just what we need. She may not make the grade of "Hot" to some... yet to a lot of us, she stands in honor for her commitments to education and family balance. I don't care if she pulls a few fashion boo boo's. Who hasen't?
She is not only hot, but intelligent and accomplished, too! And she is TALL!
Nice. Very nice. This has got to be the best looking President and First Lady in history! You gotta' luv it baby!
This gal does not have to flaunt it... if anything she has to tone it down.... She's just got it! Yet what turns her into a neat package is the confidence she displays. All that, with those tender eyes like Sally Field's. No wonder Barrack thinks to himself "WOW".
I wouldn't under estimate Michelle, or her ability to set in motion, her own legacy as America's First Lady....
but the character that counts. What's inside Michelle? I agree with snarky. Why should focus on something so shallow? Didn't MLK jr teach us better than that?
I would KILL for legs like that. I kill my feet wearing 4 inch heels trying to get long legs like hers. Barrack ain't too shabby either!
She's a beautiful woman, inside and out, and smart too.
We are incredibly lucky that Obama brought her along with him!
