You see what you look for; my shuttle bus rides had happy, expectant, courteous people on board and a charming young family who other riders helped with getting their stroller on and off the bus.

Try riding again, look for the good and don't try to validate your own stereotypes. This article tells readers more about you than about our visitors.

this article is perfect..I've gone almost every year and the bus is where you really get to see how people are. many visitors to utah have no manners..I was pregnant and had to stand because they wouldn't give up their seat..I can handle it, but the gesture was lacking. And please say thank you to the drivers, they really deserve it.

Most of these visitors have no manners. The two examples of the women complaining of their TV and DVD players shows the difference between their priorities and ours.

And these are the same people who think they are above every other American and make their political views known to everyone.

All of them are used to being waited on and treated like they're royalty.

In other words, most of them are spoiled brats.

What a great editorial on watching human behavior. However I really doubt that we can honestly attribute many of the observations made only to out-of-state visitors.

November of '07 I spent an afternoon in Park City with several co-workers from Kentucky. These guests of mine are honest, hard working, simple people. Let's just say they were entertained by many of the people they saw in Park City.

I always engage in good conversation about the films and the experience. People on the bus are willing to talk. The festival breaks down barriers.
