It sure would be nice if you could contact someone in the Payson city government to make your opinion known. I have been all over their website and can't find any contact info for any elected representative.

Let the 'arteests' raise the money themselves. Not needed, not wanted. If they really want to build it let these people get real jobs and pay for it themselves or hold a bake sale or something. Quit begging for government to pay for your folly.

I think an arts center would be a great thing to have for the comunity. For those that aren't interested in it it just shows their ignorance and narrow minded thinking.I lived in a small town that had a museum and they would raise money to keep it going through putting on plays at the school and other ways.I hope that they are able to find someway to make it happen. Many great actors started in little theaters along with great artists.

we at the Payson Art Center welcome individuals in the field of ARTS & CRAFTS to join us for an upcoming exhibition in Town of Payson to elevate the quality of visual arts. To match the beauty of our land, town and to keep our educated young population from leaving Payson, we eventually need to enhance all ARTISTIC endevours. Having performance arts added will be a great gift to our growing town.
