Tax delinquency affects more than those who owe

It is an unfortunate fact that our governments are so tilted toward the business interest and away from the general welfare of the general public.

If as you say, a business can borrow money from the government at a much lower cost than from a commercial lender just by not paying their share of the tax load, There is something very evil and bad in the government.

I am concerned and upset sometimes when I see the many TV commercials from lawyers promising to settle tax debts for pennies on the dollar for people who have not paid the proper tax. I feel that people who refuse to pay their taxes are unpatriotic, selfish and generally bad.

I am proud and pleased that I can live in a world with so many avenues to the good life and I proudly pay my taxes as my part of that effort.

I guess that Marjore didn't read the part of the article where some of the government representatives said that they kind of like it when these business do this because they get around 6% interest on these "loans" as opposed to the 2.7% that they earn from the state treasurers money market account. The problem would be when lots of business start doing this.

You can tell a statist; you just can't tell her much.
