it forgot to say he is an LDS officer. They would be sure to let everyone know if it was an FLDS officer

Why is it that when a police officer is accused of a crime, the investigation is top secret, yet when anyone else is arrested, the police are more then willing to give us all the gory details?

Also, whatever happened to that Salt Lake County Sheriffs deputy who was arrested for running a card room? Was he charged? Were others charged?

when are we going to say enough is enough and impose the death penalty on those who would harm our children for no other reason than they want something that is not proper let me catch someone harming one of my kids and i will show you how it is done it is well past time that we stop treating these sick individuals as if they can be cured I am sorry but they cannot and we as responsible parents need to be more concerned about how they are just released without anything more than some prison time and some therapy the best cure is death then we can be assured that our kids are safe from the perverts the fact that this one happens to be a cop does not and should not have any bearing on the fact that there are far more great police officers than bad ones and his conduct should be dealt with as harshly as possible due to his position of authority please stop the madness it is far past time to think of the perpetrators rights and start dealing with this issue as we used to get a rope

You apparently don't believe in American Justice or grammar.

"Anonymous," there's a very simple answer as to why more details haven't been released: To protect the the victim involved. You read that part, right?
The victim has to go on and make a good life despite the horribly misguided and tragic actions of another. One wonders what sort of salacious details you were looking for, anyway.

"Phillip," Punctuation will go a long way in making people care about what you have to say. By the way, do try to remember that he's only been arrested, not convicted. Do allow the justice system to do its job.

"ohhhhhhh ya," FYI, Spilman's not LDS. (Nor FLDS, by the way.)

make sure you have all the facts before you pass judgement. he hasn't been convicted yet...the media has a tendency to sensationalize everything.
