As a distant witness of the carnage of defenceless Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, I am reminded of the heroic resistance movement of the Warsaw ghetto chronicled in the Holocaust Library in New York.

Tragically the liquidated of the past have now become the liquidators of the present. As a grandchild of those who died in the Warsaw ghetto I would remind you that not all Jewish people support the extreme Military arm of the War Cabinet.
Americans should consider deeply their country's support for those who would ignore diplomacy and attemot military solutions.

Why is everyone always giving advice to Israel and none to those harboring Hamas?

I think if Isreal is to the point where they feel they have to attack their neighbor to protect the lives of their citizens... they need to go all the way. All these people telling them to "just attack a little", "go slow", or "accept a temporary cease fire" (which they know the opposition won't agree to or observe) are crazy! If your going after your enemy you need to use the element of suprise and keep them on the run. You don't give in to political pressure and give your enemy time to regroup, dig-in, hide better, and get ready for you!

If they are going for it, they need to keep going until they find the enemy or their goals are acomplished. Not stop, then go, then stop then go. That just gives your opposition the advantage and gets more of your people killed.

Remember... They're NOT out to kill women and children. They're looking for Hamas, but Hamas is hiding amongst the women&children so they have to go door-to-door to find them (pretty much like the US in Iraq).
