I was a ball boy for Vranes at Skyline and Utah. I loved watching him and the other guys play together, I remember Danny taking a dollar bill off the top of the backboard in high school. Neil Roberts was a great coach.Steve Condie was a stud that played there too. Then to Utah where Chambers and Vranes and the rest the team was a pure treat to just be around. I am not sure why it took so long, but I am glad they finally did the right thing by retiring his number. I live out of state now, I am curious what doed Danny Vranes do with his time these days. Great article
we forget. In recent years there have been some great BB players to come out of Utah. None could have carried Vranes' gym bag. He dominated Utah hoops more than anyone else.
