So will we impeach Mr Obama when we find out his hands are in this?

Welcome to the pathetic politics of Chicago and Illinois. One must be corrupt to even participate in politics there...including our new Pres...
Wake up America!
It is possible to purchase a political office: be a Democrat and own the news media!

It is too bad that the governor is not an honorable guy. What happens if he refuses to step down?

Neoconservativism was started at the University of Chicago by a German born Jew and atheist named Leo Strauss. I agree, Chicago political ruined America better than any terrorist could have dreamed of.

Interesting that they didn't do this prior to him selecting a new senator. Very interesting.....and well planned.

The gov' is certifiable. He has no concept of reality. Perhaps that is a by-product of political adulation in the media. Let us hope that he is the only one from Illinois that is affected. From the time of Governor Ford in the 1840's Illinois/Chicago has given corruption a bad name.

former Chicago south sider,

You wake up! Neither party nor any city or state owns a monopoly on corruption. Obama has not been implicated in this scandal. The impeachment of Blagojevich demonstrates that our system of government works.

They should hold an impeachment vote for the 1 person who voted against impeachment for the governor! 114-1 Obviously they are not interested in the truth but rather some other "unknown" wink wink loyalty.

It is kind of funny though they actually voted with this level of solidarity--I mean afterall the corruption is so rampant in that State. Who would trust anyone there.

Then again animal behavior takes over--hyenas and criminals will eat their own--their is very little loyalty among thieves. Lets not forget where our President elect cut his teeth in politics and his "ascension to his throne" began.

Chicago-style politics has not moved to DC.

Breaking News: Rod Blagojevich (that was running book in Chicago before elected and Obama's best friend, and RR's icon) has been impeached. The vote to go to trial was 114-1. The vote by the House was 114-1 and marks the first time in the states 190-year history that a governor has been impeached, despite Illinois' longstanding reputation for political corruption.

Rachael Ray Serving Up Secret Political Agenda?!

It looked like an innocent election night cooking guide in the newest Rachael Ray cooking magazine but in between the delicious "Bipartisan Salad" and the "Campaign Trail Mix" lies a devious, grassy knoll-like plot that could decide the presidency.

The proof is in the pages of the November edition of Everyday w/ Rachael Ray magazine -- in a political party food photo spread that was supposed to be impartial -- but it's not -- and we can prove it!!!

1) The first page of the spread contains two buttons -- the text on the Obama pin is perfectly readable, on the McCain button, John's name is cut off!

Coincidence?!!?!?!?!?!!? WE THINK NOT!!!

If you don't want to spend the time, do not do the crime.

What part of that is a mystery to the Governor?
Re: Jail | 6:24 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009
He will never go to jail. He will actually surface somewhere in the Democratic party as a leader. Clinton was impeached and look what it did for him and his wife! Democrats actually improve their standing in their party by being corrupt! Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, Wm Jefferson, Sandy Burger, Hillary, and on and on goes the list! Republicans who get caught have to resign in disgrace but Democrats never do! How do they do it? How do they get away with this stuff time and time again? Tax paying, law abiding citizens want to know!

Poor victim.

Just a reminder that Democrats can be law-abiding, tax-paying citizens too.
All Together Now.... | 7:13 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009
let's practice saying the title "President Biden"!
Re: Shecky | 7:27 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009
But why do you law-abiding, tax paying Democrats keep electing them?
What a laugher | 7:55 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009
Dems can't get along with themselves and they think they are going to push their version of America in the next 4 years?
