I was on my way to have lunch at Wendy's a week ago, but made a detour to
try the Tin Roof Grill next door. I had the Asian Beef salad. It was out of
this world!! The freshly grilled steak was cooked to ordered, very tender and
juicy, the housemade Asian dressing blended so well with the fresh greens and
beef. I could have eaten half a dozen of those warm artisan rolls that came
with the salad. In addition to the fresh and delicious food, the service was
prompt and impeccable. It was a very enjoyable experience. I definitely will
go back again and again, and tell my friends about this gem of a neighborhood
bistro. It worth every one of the 3.5 stars Ms. Katz has given this new
restaurant.

I look forward to reading your column each week and was so pleased to find the
wonderful review of the Tin Roof Grill. My husband and I have been patrons of
this great establishment since they opened and are continually pleased with the
variety and freshnness of their menu. We are so happy that you were able to
give them the recognition that they deserve. We have been in the restaurant
business all of our lives and know first hand how difficult it is to have
continuity in food and service. The Tin Roof Grill is a winner,

Tin Roof was excellent on my recent visit to the city. While I don't always
appreciate Mrs. Kratz' style of restaurant reviews/profiles, this one was
right on! They do have some more expensive dinners, but they are still quite the
bargain for the fare.
