glad to see the county is looking at this realisticly! gee I thought we were in a recession?
I'm not against the arts. If fact I have donated to the center, but if there is $2 Millon out there in the county coffers then why not give it back to the tax payers?
Next tax planning meeting
Comm 1: "Oh but if we don't raise your taxes we will have to cut services- including police, fire, etc."
Comm 2: "Yes-It is really difficult figuring out how to budget the county money (spend tax payers money), but we have to face these tough choices."
I think this is a great thing for Davis County. Let's have the culture in our community and the big sports venues elsewhere. And, we can afford it. Especially in the long run.
