How very sad. My thoughts are with this good man's family.
And thank you for your services!
Slow down people!
Wow,tough break,I think it takes a very special person to be a crossing guard. Do you see them, day in day out, rain, snow, hot, had to be a wonderful; man, loved to see the kids smiles and feel like he was serving in a good cause. Take care amigo!!RIP!
I believe that no matter if there was or was not a child around, this man was willing to sacrifice his life to protect children. I hope that his family will find comfort in the fact that he is a hero, to put his life at risk. It makes me stop and think about how I need to appreciate those who do this work each day.
RIP Uncle Jim. Lisa and Keith we are so sorry for your loss. I hope people read this and realize that they need to slow down in school zones. These are people that have familes and loved ones out doing their jobs to keep our children safe.
