Nothing new

This happens all the time and it is time some one paid the PIPER, or the ones who own the original. The same thing happened to the Hannah Montana idea. Evidently it was a script written about a boy who was a rock star and was in high school, just like the HM character...I wish the offended parties luck in getting justice and the money that is rightfully theirs. I don't know how that other case ended up, but it should be rectified, that is stealing....too bad.

If they have a real case, and it sounds like they do, good luck and much success! These famous musicians go crazy when people copy music for each other, but then they pull something like this off--stealing from another artist. Unbelievable! Go get 'em!

Keep the faith Mary, and know that you are a blessing to me.

there is no way they have a case... because why on earth would you wait 2 years after the song was released to sue?? Take Me As I Am was a big song it was on the billboard charts for a long time ... now if they truly wrote the song they would have made there case then instead of waiting for a few years if it was true that its there song than back when it was released than they would have made there claim then... Mary J you are my favorite singer I love everything you do you are my role model and i am behind you one hundred percent..

Maybe the people didn't hear Mary's song right away. Just because its on the radio doesn't mean we all listen to the radio.

no-lies

the song is from the heart, one persons feelings & pain that many people relate to! one person wrote the lyrics & one layed down the music not 8 plus people creating one song... get the credit you deserve! kim & brian i believe you all our blessings from all the small guys who have to fight to get there rights! peace...........
