Everyone, especially those alone or elderly, should give a spare house key and car keys to a TRUSTED relative or neighbor. There are too many times such as this incident where it would be much simpler for their friend to check up on them. Or in cases when you are locked of of your house or car. We have such an arrangement with one of our neighbors, just in case! Also leave them with a contact number of family members who live away from your neighborhood.
