Comments about ‘Huntsman begins second term’

Don't they usually do the governors swearing in into office indoors and NOT outdoors in the bitter cold? I simply wondering because this inauguration looked like the USA presidents. I was just wondering because President Monson and some of the older gents and ladies looked mighty cold standing out there. I think that the older ones health should always be taken into consideration.

Give me a break on saving money so they did it outdoors!!! Just tell me what 8 steps out of the Capitol door has to do with saving money? The state spends more money on the worthless places like this the Place Monument Park known as the modern day Heritage Park...LOL! Tax payers need to protest this silly malarkey. The Heritage park buildings have no heritage there. Those buildings were not their in the 1800's. Geeeeez! Beside it should be called the most BORING park in the state.

Way to go jonny you're the best democratic gov we've had in a while. Tax and spend all you want. Knowing your dad and watching you I can tell that the nut can fall very far from the tree. In fact, please make sure the legislature balances the budget on the backs of our public school students and teachers.

Um, that is funny you should mention- This Is The Place Heritage Park. Isn't one of the buildings there in the village, and a so called pioneer house, called the HUNTSMAN HOUSE? That would make sense now wouldn't it?

People are so happy (angry) about this event that they are slurring and misspelling words right left on here. It Kind of all reminds me of a mad dog foaming at the mouth kind of happiness.

It's funny how that book looks brand new. Almost like it has NEVER BEEN USED!

What do you mean the comments are monitored. If you monitor the ones that are here they all fall in the category of abusive; offensive; misrepresentative and totally off-topic. I think there are more decent citizens out there than what you have let go on here.

Will somebody please tell me what are wonderful governor has really done for this state in the last four years? And what the heck is going to do the next four years beside making false promises? Like for example of lowering sales tax,what good does this do when all our utility companies raise rates year after year we gain nothing,it happens all the time.What about our pollution in this valley,hey governor huntsman in case you havent noticed its getting worse since you been in office and we do not have 10-15 years to fix it so why dont you do something besides sitting in your mansion, make yourself visible and do something for this state. I suggest that people go to web site and comment on your lack of leadership for this state, I doubt you will respond you havent in the past. No kidding thanks for all your wonderful work NOT!!

I have been taught that if you can't say something nice don't say it.

Try living in a state where unemployment is higher than the national average, jobs are moving out instead of in, and the elected officials are caught in scandal after scandal. Then you might appreciate the leadership available in your state, including being grateful for a culture of hard work instead of using it to bash a specific religion. Why does anybody spend their energy griping about the innauguration taking place outside--who flippin' cares? Again, try living in a state where the oath is followed by glamorous parties and balls while the hard workers of the state are standing in the cold. COME WHAT MAY AND LOVE IT!!

To be entirely honest, I don't slander Governor Huntsman. I simultaneously do see elements that must exist in his life where he has been given a lot of free hand outs. Does that mean he's a spoiled person? absolutely not. He must be a loving father and husband. Getting into those higher numbers though, anyone with that kind of money resides in a different reality than 'the rest' of society. It's very easy to exist within an aristocracy and not even know it. Will the things he do help me personally? He doesn't even know who I am. If things he has done in the past have helped me somehow, I frankly haven't been able to accredit any of them to him - other than the fact that he's obviously a morally stable individual - like myself. I don't think I'd personally be a politician in a million years - I think they're all a little wacko, and tainted with dis-honest lying - heavy spending, and little understanding of what work really means.

They did the Govenor of Idaho's inauguration outside also. So, I think it's just what they do.

Great! Four more years of nothing much.
