This is why our economy is being destroyed. Comapnies should be investing in america and its workers, not foreign nationals or foreign countries. We can do it better and make things that are safe, useable, and long lasting. What does China have to offer? Cheap labor, dangerous imports, and junk products. This guy is surely looking out for his job and commissions. This kind of business is harmful to america and its businesses. It is short term and unamerican for business not to support its own country and its workers. Business needs to focus on opportunities in america, and put this guy out of a job. And it would help if we had news media supporting america in america by not even printing or reporting such traitorus acts by business or report it as being tratiors to america.

Much of what you say is true. But the world has moved on and we cannot sit behind our borders and hope the world goes away. We have to use the world to be successful in business. Sad, but true.

Now the day will come when China will invest even more in America. Oh, yeah, they will. Mostly in industries that they want to control and or copy. But they will expand what they are already doing here. Look for more Chinese investments here...

World moves on. We either get aboard or we get left behind.

The proper govt. response is to retrain our people for the future. Obama will do that.
Invest in USA | 11:52 a.m. Jan. 4, 2009
Yes, they are investing. We are selling our infrastructure since we have lost most of our manufacturing. Soon we are going to be just like them, a third world country since our middle class is being decimated.

That is ONLY way for poor China, NOT US.
Making the world go away | 8:49 a.m. Jan. 5, 2009
While I agree that we obviously cannot "make the world go away" we can do the next best thing and use the constitutional powers of government to: impose tariffs against the unfair competition of countries with low pay for employees, less restrictive laws controlling the environment etc, and at times government subsidies and other favorable circumstances often enjoyed by our major competitors. We could also control our own corporations from so drastically outsourceing our native economy.

If anyone wants to help out China get a job at Walmart! Or shop there.... Oh, you already do.
