Scooter, you're completely right. Alabama plays in the SEC while Utah plays in the MWC...two completely different leagues.

I don't see anything in Scooter's comment that would indicate he's a BYU fan.

I assume you mean that Utah isn't as good as Alabama. In that case, byu isn't in the 'same league' as Utah when you consider how many more wins Utah has than byu, how many more BCS games, the bowl records, the records against the Pac-10, the records against top 25 competition, head to head records, etc
It sounds like you would have to agree that Utah AND Alabama are much better than byu.

I must admit Utah isn't in the same league as Bama. Bama has a huge advantage recruiting because of the mystic and $$$. That is o.k. Utah made it to the BCS game and it is an honor no matter the outcome. I only have to look at Texas Tech getting kicked by OU by 50. Though everyone expects the same with the Sugar Bowl it might surprise you to see the Utes play hard and keep the game respectable.
