Koufus plays just like Millsap did his rookie year, hard and with very few mistakes. This kid is just 18 months away from his senior prom and he plays like he's been in the league for a few years. My Suggestion would be to Start him every game, let Memo back up Millsap at the 4 and Koufus at the 5. Then Trade Boozer for anyone who won't play with their cuff links durring interviews and then sit back and get ready to contend in 2-3 years.

Any ideas who entered Fess's body and strung together some very productive minutes tonight?

That's what I was talking about after the Milwaukee game. A couple of days working within the rotation in practice made a world of difference for Fesenko. We all want Memo, Booz and Paul back soon, but for Fess and 2K, the extra minutes are going to pay off. Good luck against Houston, boys!

Note to Sloan: All young players get confused at times. That's not a good reason to sit them for games at a time. Even Deron gets confused during the game. Jerry needs to learn to relax and let the players play through their problems. Jerry is the biggest headcase on the team.

I just read about Kosta Koufus' excellent start against the Mavericks in my (and his) hometown paper in Ohio, The Canton Repository. It prompted me to read your newspaper for more details. I still can't get over that the Cavs passed on Kosta, but good for the Jazz. I see now that playing with the Jazz is offering him the opportunities to play that he may not have had behind the Cav's "Z" or Varajao who have stayed healthy. Go Jazz and Go Kosta! Your old band director is keeping an eye on you!
