My sentiments on the sports instant replay - exactly!

1. hold the darn camera still so we can see the action.

2. have plenty of mounted cameras around the stadiums/arenas.

Stick to TV

Puhleaze!! Is there anyone in the state of Utah, be it BYU Utah or Jazz fans, that can ever say they just weren't good enough? Maybe the refs stink because you watch the game with your tinted glasses on all of the time! The BYU-Az St call was the right one. The ref didn't blow his whistle on the fumble call, but they were already waving their arms and calling the play dead well before that. STOP CRYING ALL OF THE TIME! What are you teaching your children?

Stick to the rule book

Uhhhh.....,last time I checked, in college football the play is not dead until the whistle blows. The ref's can wave there arms until there blue in the face, until the whistle blows the play is live. No one is crying and BYU was definitely outplayed in that game. That being said the ref's were awful.

Cameras

We all agree that the technology was lacking, especially at the BYU/ASU basketball game. But I wish people would quit their whining about the calls, because from the replays we do have they got all the calls correct.

re: stick

Sorry, but forward progress was stopped. The correct call was made.

re: stick

You stop on the whistle.

glad i wasn't the only one

I too was very annoyed at the camera angles that FSN used the entire game. Then suddenly the most important play of the entire game and they didn't have another angle??!! Did the cameraman under the hoop not have the camera on? You can see him sitting there from the camera angle we do have!

And for anyone saying BYU fans are a bunch of whiners because that ball wasn't ruled a fumble is silly. I agree his forward progress was lost, but why wasn't the whistle blown!!!?? The ball had bounced before the ref started blowing the whistle.

Its just like I see all the time in the NBA. The ref waits to see what happens and then calls the foul. NO!! That is not how it works. The ref can't wait to see if he is going to regain forward progress he has to blow the whistle as soon as it is lost and certainly not as soon as the player fumbles it!
