Five stars too the BEST family.* * * * *

What a wonderful tradition! Thanks for setting such a fabulous example. I'm sure you will be blessed over and over because of it.

Kudos to them

Great deed! We all need to remember that for many people Christmas is not the warm and fuzzy holiday and instead is a dreaded event. Not only for the indigent, but for people who have family problems or are alone. For those, Christmas is NOT "The most wonderful time of the year."

This is what Christmas should be about. There is far too much commercialism and it's time to remember (or learn) the real meaning of Christmas. This family knows what it means!

Great Job!

I know the people served were grateful for the lunch. My wife and I tried to volunteer at a shelter in Provo, and we were turned away. Imagine that -- they said they had too many volunteers. They have a 3 month waiting list to help serve holiday dinners. We will get on that list. We decided it is time to do more than just sit on our duffs.

Great example, Best Family.

I find this very uplifting to say the least. I am beginning to dislike all the Xmas commericalism myself. It is so time consuming and sometimes can be a complete waste of money. This is a self-less act from this family who really does know the meaning of Christmas. The last thing any of us needs is another "Something" for Xmas!!! We need to get back on track and find ways to help each other again instead of just our own families.

I am so inspired! I'm a single mum and I've been looking for something to do with my kids and this sounds pretty close! We might give it a go down under!

This is fantastic and what Christmas should be about. My older married children have decided instead of giving gifts to one another they'd all go shopping for a family and provide a Christmas to a needy family without their knowing who gave. It was nice to see they've learned the things we taught growing up. I noticed the comment above, I was once guilty of doing the same thing, but please remember not to take Christ our of Christmas by writing Xmas this way! Once told in a talk I now find it offensive and try to remind others who did as I once did. You are all so inspiring!

It's all lovely but you know when I would go with youth to sing at Christmas in commercial homes that "cared" for folks, I was so uncomfortable because we seemed to only do it at Christmas. Wish we could do this all the time in some small way. We are all doing our best in different ways though and I so much appreciate what this lovely family does as a tradition. We will follow their example in our own ways. Thank you.
