Congratulatons, Jared! You've fallen victim to one of journalism's all-time worst cliches ... the "chair-leaning" lead. If the most important thing Gary Andersen can do in the future is lean back in his chair and relax, he's not a very interesting person, and this won't be an interesting story. Undoubtedly, Coach Andersen will feel the need to use the bathroom at some point in the future, and a lead that envisions him sitting back or leaning forward while relaxing on the porcelain throne would be just as interesting -- and appropriate -- as the chair-leaning lead.

Clarification please

Wasn't Bill Busch unemployed, a good friend of Gary's who needed a job. Urban didn't even consider Bill for his staff. But now he is a coordinator. For the record Dave Baldwin was also unemployed at the moment, he is at least an experienced coordinator (whatever that means, New Mexico was a powerful offensive machine) and was looking for a job. I would be interested to hear about all those qualified candidates that applied.

Wow, two sophomoric comments from a couple of slack-jawed yokels.
Anderson will do very well at USU.
Baldwin is a great coach and Busch is a great recruiter and defensive mind.
USU played BYU dead even last year. Andersen will have the Aggies beating The Donc and byu on a regular basis.....that is if byu is tough enough to schedule the Aggs.

Huh?

Wow, Ernest! You have the nerve to call someone else a "slack-jawed yokel" and then come across as one yourself. The first post by J prof didn't say anything negative about Coach Andersen. It was a comment about the reporter's approach to the story. And by the way, he's right. Starting a story by writing about the way someone leans back in his chair is a boring cliche.

college coach

i don't know how you can work 16 hour days and raise a family. Look at Andy Reid at Philly. That is one of the reasons i got out of the college game.

Juggling!

Well that's good. He will have something to fall back on when he,too, fails with the Aglanders.
