But I was told, they are of the "Religion Of Peace".
I was also told by our great government, that these good people just wanted to live the American Dream.

I am sooooo suprised!
Where is larger Islam | 4:46 p.m. Dec. 22, 2008
Whenever some wing nut "Christian" pastor so much as says something unpleasant about some group you can count on the larger Christian community to roundly condemn the guy. When nut cases figure they will protest homosexual conduct by protesting at military funerals (I still can't figure out THAT connection) they are denounced AND congress passes laws limiting their conduct.

But here we are again with Muslims being accused AND convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and terrorism and the larger Islamic community is STILL defending them. Innocent until proven guilty is one thing. But these guys have been properly CONVICTED. And STILL the Islamic community defends them!?!?!?!? And they wonder why some of us no longer believe Islam is a religion of peace, or willing to coexist in a diverse world?

Where are the muslims--either lay members or especially the clergy--renouncing these terrorists for the scum and the blight on Islam they clearly are?

Or maybe they are not viewed as a blight on Islam. Maybe it isn't "radical" islam we have to worry about, but mainstream Islam.
Hiding behind religon | 4:48 p.m. Dec. 22, 2008
When the FLDS rape underage girls we hear a lot about hiding behind religion.

Well, it is time to stop hiding behind religion when planning and committing terrorism. Either Islam needs to condemn this kind of stuff, or we need to realize that Islam is not merely a benign religion, but a belief system that far too often demands the violent over-throw of our nation. And it needs to be treated as the threat it is.

Whether you like President Bush or not, it has to be admitted that he has done more to defeat terrorists than ANY other leader in the world. This is only one example.
