you will not see boozer in a jazz jersey again!!! he is done with the jazz... feb 12 the jazz will trade boozer to charlotte, (new york) in a 3 team deal bring david lee gallinari from new york and g wallace from charlotte... jazz give up booz miles almond and darft picks
Well, excuse me, but I thought an MRI would show everything. And a bruise (bone) getting bigger - I also thought over time a bruise would become smaller. I still think BOOzer is on strike to prove that the JAZZ can't do without him and will give him the big bucks. Personally, let him go - we may struggle (and we have) but in time, with the money he wants and signing Millsap to a big contract, we could probably find another player. Gosh, I sure wish my job would pay me $12 mil a year to get dressed and sit on the bench. Don't gain weight, BOOzer, you know how you tend to run to fat.
Boozer is officially damaged goods. The only raise he will get is in a hospital room on that leg. I like him, but facts are facts: durability = longevity with the Jazz and he doesn't fit in the equation. We must get something for him while we can and build the team around Williams, AK, Memo and Millsap.
Give Paul Millsap a big raise -- he actually seems to want to play -- and let Mr. Injury go somewhere else.
Boozer is a Diva, and Milsap is better, cheaper, and more reliable... See ya Booz!
I usually give players the benefit of the doubt.......either they are down playing the severity of it for $$$ reasons or he is the slowest healing mid 20's athlete in the world. Remember his hammy?
I am starting to think we trade him...and give Paul some decent $$$$ to stay.
I am not optimistic with him anymore...
The jazz have always had a knack for second round gems....Russel, Anderson, Millsap...
Anderson has got to be the biggest disappointment...the jazz develop him and promise him to start ahead of Horny and he bolts for Houston and ends up in NY and bought out. Thank you Dan Fagen...your clients must be thrilled,
I was watching NBA channel and they were talking about guys who are really injured and those that play even when hurt. Boozer is neither injured or hurt. If your in pain you don't sit text messaging during the game.
Millsap has shown he is more then capable of replacing Boozer, we need to trade Boozer and find a big man that can help out on defense. Our offense hasn't been struggling since Boozer's been out its our pathetic defense.
booz my man... i love ya great player and i would turn on ya but youve been out 1/3 of your games here. Milsaps the man and im sorry but we gotta trade ya. you got skills but it just dont seem like you got the heart. NO gut No glory.
Boozer needs to go Wal Street . Over there somebody looking for good business (money) pple.
The only way the Jazz would trade Boozer is if they sign and trade him. Which will never happen, for one thing the Jazz want him if they sign him and two, Boozer would go for more money signing with a team on his own.
You could argue that we lose out if he just walks and we dont "get something out of him". I think its a win win either way. If Boozer stays we will be happy, he is a force on offense, and if he leaves we can take his millions and go and sign a player like Brandon Bass, Lamar Odem or Drew Gooden all who are unrestricted next season. Imagine having Milsap start with one of them coming off to fill in!
Offer Boozer his "raise" not a huge one but a smart team one and then sign Milsap to a real contract. If Boozer turns it down, throw that money at one of the three guys I already mentioned and we wont lose a step. D-Will is the leader of this team and everyone is starting to learn their role and fill in quite nice!
Shut up and let somebody else make the trade decisions -- you can bet they know all about Boozer, and he's not the future of this franchise.
the real problem is mehmet okur, he doesn't play any defense, you all get upset at booz for not playing but if any of you idiots stoped complaining and looked at okur's defense you would all be saying we should trade him. Shut up, none of you know anything about basketball!
Our record is great since Boozer went down. Aren't we #1 in the West today?
Boozer=no heart.
And people are suprised??
He's frustrated? What about the Jaz and their fans paying big bucks to see the game be because of him salary? How many players have you heard of, missing games because of a bruise or a strained muscle? He is stealing money from the Jazz! And he wants a raise? Trade the Pansy!
Boozer=Derrick Coleman.
Take whatever you can get for him in a trade. Maybe a case of Coke and a bag of chips.
As I see it there must be something wrong with Boozer's knee. If it was ok then he would be playing. As you all know D-Will came back because the trainers in Utah said that he was ok and he was not. Two years ago the trainers in Utah said that Boozer was ok and he came back before he was fine, then it kept him out for more time than it should have. Now the same thing is happening to him again because his knee is getting worse. Yes we can't win without Boozer and all of you that would love to send Boozer away are wrong about what is going on with his injury. Everyone on the team is playing hurt and that is why we are losing. If the Jazz players were all healthy, then the team would be on top in the west and not at the 8th place to get into the playoffs. They are almost out of the playoffs!!!!!
Can anyone explain why Boozer's knee is getting worse? He's not playing and they're doing the proper rehab, or they are supposed to be. What's going on? Something seems fishy. But where Boozer is involved, it always seems something fishy is going on.
I've always been a fan of Carlos Boozer as a player, but I'm starting to think enough is enough with this guy. When he plays he is awesome, but he always seems to be hurt. Some players are just injury prone and Boozer fits the bill. Aside from his injuries, there is a great possiblity he will leave Utah for more money anyway. I say trade him while the Jazz can still get something for him. They won't get an equal player offensively, but maybe they can get a defensive stopper that Utah has always lacked in the past.
The scary prospect now is that his injury requires surgery which means he may be out until next season!! Consequently, that possibly means HE MAY NOT OPT OUT and we may be stuck with him and his injured leg for another year/season!!!
This is going from bad to worse!!! Boozers durability would be a GIANT ? for any team looking to sign him and would diminish value.
Realistically his best option, if injury continues, is to not opt out and stay and try to re establish himself in Utah and ultimately re-sign here. A mentioned the Jazz can pay him the most and give the longest contract. Never forget Boozer is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.
The curse of the injured Boozer!!!
