What a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing!
That is a lovely story told with sensitivity. I especially appreciated the part about confessing to eating the peanut butter.
My mother was raised in Lehi, Ut. She came from a family of 8 and was the oldest female sibling. Her family was very poor. Most of the time, her only gift was an orange and a few hard tack candies in her stocking. She fondly told us stories of how they looked forward to that orange and a few hard tack candies. Her memories of Christmases were sweet and warm. I read your story with sweet memories of my mother and her Christmas orange. Thank you for reminding us that Christmas is not all about the gifts you receive but the love that is given. She did not speak of the hardships of being poor, but of the love that was shared with her family.
Thanks for the great story today!
GREAT STORY, thanks you, and Merry Christmas!
Wonderful story! Thanks for sharing, we all have some much to be thankful for.
Thank you.
I know Soon as she is my adopted sister. She is a great kind person. She understands how small things can make a difference. I want her to know that she has made a difference in my life. I hope that we can all be a little more kind and caring not only during the holidays but everyday throughout the year.
Steve
What a touching story! May this help us all remember those who are less fortunate than we are. May we carry this reminder with us throughout the holidays and the upcoming year!

I plan to tell that story at our Christmas dinner using an orange and then giving the grandchildren a Kit Kat so they will remember the treasure it was to Soon Hee. Beautiful Story. Thanks
