The FLDS members lost their children for two months, which was a nightmare to them and it all came about due to this phone call. But, the phone call was a hoax and the caller has mental problems that may prevent her from taking responsibility for her actions. Even if she could take responsibility, there wouldn't be much in the way of punishment and nothing in the way of compensation.
The FLDS also lost their children because some of their members allegedly practiced statutory rape. So, these members are partially responsible as well.
Some of the responsibility must lie with the parents who elected to reside in a community that allegedly tolerates child sexual abuse. It is hard to believe that good parents would live in an area with so many alleged sexual abusers.
Nothing would have happened due to the calls if there weren't problems within the compound.
Get off it Gal 50....the law had no right togo on the ranch. What was "seen" by CPS was wishful thinking brought about by a steady diet of bookpeddler drivil.
Watch the "evidence" get thrown out.....watch the Hildebrand law disappear....watch the few perverts walk free because of a bunch of bozos.
CPS did not walk in and see......they took a tank and a swat team and desecrated a church.
All this misery because of a nut!
