Go Billy Johnson! show the tide why you're the best QB in the country, BCS bowl, Utah state, MWC.
Another fine article. We appreciate all you do and your professionalism and accuracy and spell checking.
That's funny, I've never heard of Billy Johnson. He's definitely not on the two teams being discussed in this article. Go Cougars!
Whatever they did to prepare for Utah and TCU certainly didn't work. Personally, I think two-a-days would have been more appropriate. Practice makes perfect. After the Utah game, they definitely showed they need practice. How you can improve upon execution without repetition is beyond reason.
Now we understand how come BYU lost to UTAH. Pitta was not prepared and should not have been out there according to Doman according to Dork Harmin. This is a new excuse... I have already heard the Y fans blame it on Hall being color blind (can't see red); the coaches (didn't run enough) or didn't adjust or call right plays. Seems like its a team game to me... Maybe the cheerleaders broke an honor code and that is why they lost. Or perhaps just the score...
Just FYI they are student athletes and finals just finished this week. Two a days during finals. That would really help them do well in school.
Now Utah on the other hand has a chance to do two a days for a couple weeks leading up to the Sugar Bowl if they want. Since their student athletes don't have school anymore, but then they might go over the 14 practices alloted.
can do twoadays anytime I know they dont even give homework at the U. Its more of a "feel good" school that works on building self esteem.
why not allow beat up players more time to heal while working them on conditioning as a team.
Makes sense to get a team healthy for a bowl game.

Tell you what. Find out what Oregon and CAL do to prepare for a bowl game, then do the opposite....
These two always stink up the place.
And no mention of the rumors of UofA's head coach going to IowaState....
I can understand finals getting in the way of more practices, but in another article Bronco is quoted as saying he was slowing things down so the peaked for this game, and not envying Utah's 40 day layoff before the Sugar Bowl.
But here's my question - part of the benefit of playing a bowl game is the extra practice time. If you don't want to risk your starters, or if they need extra time to heal from injuries, fine. But what about all your 2nd and 3rd stringers? The guys (especially the o-line) who are going to have to fill some major holes next year. Couldn't we use those other 7 practices for THEM??
