They finaly get that lofty # 1 ranking they feel they should have gotten from day one, and they lose it as fast as they got it. All that trash talking just doesn't win games. All your trash talking got you was a 16 point lose. I hope that this lose will help your team work harder to become a better team. Good luck working your way back to that # 1 ranking.

How does number 1 get beat by 16 on their court..maybe the paper is and doesn't and never will truly understand sports..Riverton beats another one of your boys PG..how does that happen..because PG has never been able to play team ball...and the Sawyer kid you have talked him up and up..can't even think you he is good job Wagstaff..you make us all proud.

If sawyer starts for Bosie state next year the Cougs could beat them by 70. Over, over, over rated. A d1 guy does not have games like that.

West Jordan Is Good but you can't under rate Skyline. They are a well coached and displined team.

I go to orem and we played skyline in the summer. Never seen a more disciplined team in all my years of playing high school sports. They should be ranked higher. Great win for skyline especially on an away game.

never have a studentbody displayed a lack of honor and sportsmanship as the students did at the game. Ware was the facility ? The total brakedown of the students had to have an adverse affect on the jag team to excell before such lack of school spirit was non productive and had the negitave effect on the outcome of the game.. soooo sad ..

I watch a ton of high school basketball. I had huge hopes for this Jag team. Reyes needs to be way more aggressive. Stop looking for the 3 ball so much. The kid has mad hops and a good little jumper, but he doesn't use it. As far as the Sawer kid, he looked terrible. Having said that though I have seen this kid play well before. I think the Jags will be OK if they play harder. I do however have to give props to Skyline and their coaching staff.

Have you ever been to a high school basketball game... I'm guessing not every team needs a wake up call, the real ball is played in march and the jags will be right in the thick of it as we all expect. congrats skyline you play with a lot of heart and are a contender, how ever west jordan has fair weather fans. Probably because lacrosse and basketball are the only to sports that they can make a run at.

I just want to say that it's evident that many of these posts are from people from West Jordan. The grammatical errors are a dead give away. I mean, mistaking "lose" for "loss", that is pathetic. Go JAGS!

With the loss to skyline the jags have one loss..How many teams have a perfect record at the end of the season? Jags need to find some rebounding and some inside play. They will be right there at the end.. And as for that sawyer kid there is a reason hes signed. Mason keep your feet off my coffee table. The jags student are the best fans around. We will see what happens tonight with Davis..

most teams dont even have close to as much support as what the jags get. their fans are wild, and they love their team. Ive seen sawyer play enough to know that he will do fine in d1, he just had a bad game. they were short handed without 6'5 260 pound big man tialavea. with his rebounding the game could have been different. expect big things from wj

Go eagles woo woo! skyline is legit.... but why is everybody hating on WJ? These guys are studs and will do just fine this year, every team has their losses and WJ is great team. Keep on rollin eagles keep on playing diciplined basketball. As for WJ hope to see you guys again for another good game come tournament time.

Sawyer is definitely not the BEST PG out there, but he signed for a reason. Skyline is definitely disciplined and should not be underestimated. The fact of the matter is, the game would of had a completely different outcome with Tialavea in the middle of it all getting those rebounds. Skyline should be ranked higher, but West Jordan is going to be up there whether anyone likes it or not. They showed it with Davis tonight. As for West Jordan fans, they love their team and show it. Its definitely no the most respected way, but they definitely show it.

West Jordan has an incredible fan base! Who ever says that they have a lack of school spirit is sorely mistaken. Those Jag fans may not have all their cheers down to a tee but they do have a love for their basketball team and that is more important! It would also help if their administration would get off their back a little. Let the kids have their fun!!!

Ill be the first Jag to admit we dont show very good sportsmanship, and its kind of embarrassing that we have so many negative cheers for the other team. However, Very few schools are able to get that kind of crazy support for their team, and admit it, when you come to WJ, (or we come to you) we have one of the most (if not the most) intimidating crowd in the state. See you in region play, when the regular season matters.

I hope it is not like football, where you start out 5-0 and then don't make the playoffs. OVERRATED!!!!! OVERRATED!!!!! Nice 4th Quarter.

Skyline is not in your region...

I don't think the person was talking about seeing Skyline in region. I think he ws just talking to the state of utah in general. Mostly region 3 foes. Go Jags!
