Ms. Dana, check with public affairs at DPG, it is in fact "Dugway Proving Ground" not "Grounds." Let your editors know also. This is a frequent editorial error, not just in the DN.
"atl" is correct. There is only one proving ground at Dugway; hence, it is "Dugway Proving Ground". The first reference in the article is correct, but all other references I caught were incorrect.
. . . note that Dugway Proving Ground is located in the West Desert, not in Skull Valley. Skull Valley is the next valley over.
