This is great that an opportunity like this was available in Utah. I really think that more and more movies will be made here. It's also really neat that the movie was made in a house that the owner built, i'm sure that made the family proud.
This story also seems to have left out the details that Huntsman and Parkin parted ways creatively, and that the version of the film released on Lifetime is a cut of the film that was made without Parkin's involvement.
So was BYU a sub for Gonzaga?
