WICKED!!!! I am soooo excited to see this. I got my tickets this morning. 3rd in line baby!
My sympathies go out to the males standing in line to see this production. I saw "Wicked" in Chicago, and it is definitely a chick flick show, not worth the high price of admission or the wait in line. I would prefer watching Survivorman, but I do recognize that sometimes it is necessary for men to do these kind of things and pretend to enjoy the experience in order to make females happy.
I wasnt the 1st or 3rd in line and I have got very nice tickets...BE SMART GO ONLINE!!!
I am presently attempting to purchase tickets online but the website is clogged like a low-flow toilet.
It was a lot better online ...like 6:30 or 7:00 am
The prices are fairly high. I was lucky enough to win lottery tickets while in NYC and saw it from the front row for $25. Not bad if you don't mind getting spit on. But it was a great show, even for a man.
Wish online worked. Site has been timing out constantly and consistently since 10am. Garrr
For the same price as two tickets are for the Salt Lake show, my wife and I went to LA, saw the show, went to Magic Mountain, and stayed for two days. Tickets are very high for the Salt Lake show.
I too won the lottery in New York and sat on the front row. They were by far the best seats in the house. I also saw it in London, where it was very easy to walk up and get great seats for any performance. This is definitely NOT a chick flick show though, guys will like it.
why do people buy the max tickets and then sell them "to whomever will pay the most". Not cool, that means the rest of those who would love to purchase tickets but can't pay hundreds of dollars will be unable to see the show. Perhaps we have jobs and can't take the time to stand in line all morning. Thanks guys. Thanks a ton.
Hurrah for season ticket holders! My mother bought tickets for our family a few months ago.
i saw it in denver well worth the money still trying on line
I have seen Wicked 5 times in four different cities and bought season tickets from Broadway Across America as soon as I knew Wicked was coming to SLC. Because I was a season ticket holder, I was able to purchase an additional 195 tickets for family and friends (the best seats in the house). Needless to say, I've sold ALL of my tickets, made all of the money I've spent back (and then some) and am gonig to Wicked for FREE!
Yeah try and get them online. Only through scalpers. I could not even log in unti1 11:15 (and I do have a good internet connection). By the time I could even get to ArtTix, all that were left were singles and Sundays, then they announced they had to shut down the website because of the demand. Phoning didn't work either. So I guess Jet Blue and I will go back to NYC, where I saw it in July. It is a fabulous show.
TO MUCH MONEY FOR THOSE TICKETS!!! WE RALLY NEED TO BRING MORE SHOWS TO UTAH "TOWN" so the prices will go down!!!
The way this was handled this morning is pathetic! People should be fired...or put in jail.
Are their still tickets availbaile ? and if their are how much do they go for? If you could let me know that would be great
I'll wait for them to make a movie of it.
I agree with you. I really thought this would be a fun Christmas surprise for my wife. We've both read the book. But I can't spend $500 a ticket for good seats, and I refuse to spend $200 a ticket for bad seats. This consumer has been effectively priced out of the market. More greed, greed, greed, just in time for the holidays. And we wonder why our country is in so much trouble now.
I agree with the 12:56 person Laura She has a really good point They are not cheap tickets to come by, No one now can spend $500 for a good ticket and $200 for not a good ticket, SO what is wrong with us?They would be smart if they did not make a movie out of it,
