I dont usually comment or blog. I will say I do remember Wonderland (and what happen to Dr. Lyla Garrity). It was a well crafted, amazing show (all two of them). But no it didnt surprise me ABC (especially ABC) took it off. Please pass my well wishes and compliment to Peter Berg.
All eight episodes were aired in Germany and the Scandinavian countries, so they *have* been seen, just not in the U.S. The so-called pilot is actually the third episode. Possibly, if the episodes had been shown in their proper sequence, the show could have developed enough of a following that it wouldn't have been cancelled. Then again, since it was shown opposite "ER" and NAMI was clamoring for its cancellation, we'd probably have seen four of the eight episodes instead of only two. At any rate, I hope the episodes are shown in sequence on DirecTV. It'll eliminate some confusion. I do remember the incident involving the pregnant doctor--vividly. It's not for the faint of heart. But the show is worth watching despite such disturbing moments, and Ted Levine as Dr. Robert Banger is simply brilliant.
