Deron, take your time with the healing process.

I'd rather have you play 15 minutes a game and be back to your old self in a month, than to have you suffer with the injury all season long. Or worse, lose you for the entire year.

For now, just direct the offense. Your point totals will go up as your ankle gets stronger. Let Brevin and Ronnie help you carry the load.

There isn't any shame in saying to Coach Sloan that you need to back off the minutes a bit.

GO JAZZ

No matter what the Jazz record is come the end of the season no team in the Western Conference wants to play them in the playoffs when they are healthy the Jazz will be a contender

CP3O

Anybody know Chris Paul ?
Slam dunk should have been selected by the Jazz - no question. Anybody who says otherwise is not thinking objectively. D-will is good - just a notch below CP.
This is second worst draft pick in history behind the Pistons passing on Wade, Melo & Bosh to get Darko.

Ankle

Deron: Do the Boob, or I mean Booz as far as healing goes...give yourself enough time to heal so as to be perfectly rested so you can kick some serious tail when you return. Your a competitor, which makes you an anti-boob, or I mean anti-booz, thus I understand your desire to come back, just don't push yourself too hard...you have about 10 more years to give us Jazz fans :)

Dapper2k

TO CP30...You're smoking crack. "2nd worse draft to..." I won't debate who is better between the 2 gaurds as it can be argued both ways, but by your own logic he is right there with CP. That would put him in the same catagory as Dwade, Mello and Bosch. He is no where near the drop off that Darko was and as I said early could even be the better player.

It was a great draft for the Jazz. And is so close that the better player won't be determined until one or both of their careers are over. The deciding factor may well be injuries and until this year Dwill was the healthier of the two.

You may want to consider taking your love affair and becoming a NO fan.

Go Will, Go Jazz!

Enough Of This

Whatever D-Will. Fact is that you are the 3rd best young guard in the league today. C-Paul is in 1st but only for one more year, then Rose will be the man for several years. Don't fight it, accept it and you will be fine and so will our Jazz. If we don't finish higher than last year I will guarantee you will see some wholesale changes this next summer. This probaly needed to be done this past summer.

CP3O, you are up in the night. D-will was a great pick for the Jazz. I get more excited with every game he plays. I am not taking anything away from Chris Paul, but I don't think he would fit into this system as well as Deron. I would have never believed the Jazz would be 14-9 with all the injury problems they have had this year. Jerry has done a great job coaching and putting together combinations on the floor to help the Jazz win. GO JAZZ.

D-Will

Re:CP3O, Second worst draft pick in history....are you serious?? Go look at the 1984 draft before you make a comment like that. Second worst pick....thanks for making me laugh.

Neanderthal

From out here in "Bulls" and Illini land, and as a long-time follower and fan of the Jazz, I appreciate a team concept that puts personal character and team chemistry above all else. D-Will is the perfect fit for the Jazz and I tire of hearing those comments that wish for a boatload of personal problems and team disruption.

Go Deron - I-L-L-I-N-I

Old Stink Fing

Williams is out of synch. Paul is in a zone. Booz is Kinda like Jarron Collins. They should hop in a golf cart together. Duke makes me puke. So does Stanford.

CP30, you're a clown. Enough of this, you're worse than a clown. And common, ankle, all you can come up with is Boob.

BoOoO

Ha Ha! Sorry Derrick Rose is a really good player, But he will not be the best point guard in the league. It will always be D-will & CP3 for as long as they are in the league. Well, as long as they stay healthy. Oh and a comment to CP3, your an idiot. Deron got injured and is still putting up pretty decent numbers. Yeah, he hasn't been putting up as good of numbers as Chris Paul but thats obviously because he's still recovering. Deron Williams is a WAAAY better player for this offense.

Prepare for next year

I don't think Williams' ankle sprain will ever get back to 100% this year. He had a very serious injury and it will hamper him this season. He should just take another month or two off, get it 80-90% healthy, play 15-20 minutes per game, and come back next year at 100%.

seriously-

I'll take D-Will over CP any day!!

Just a thought:
If D-will played for the hornets, he would put up the same numbers that Paul does... but the Jazz have more people who can score, so the point distribution is spread out among all our players rather than one or two. Its called a team effort - not one player showing off to get media attention.

GO JAZZ

You are correct sir!!

Good

It's good to hear from some real Jazz fans. I get sick of all the CP3 Lovers and thoses that hate Booz. Go Jazz and to all those Jazz haters GO HOME.

Sam Perkins

I understand the Paul bandwagoners coming out now. But it's comparing apples to oranges. A couple years ago Paul was hurt and Williams' numbers were so much better that even Steve Nash admitted that Deron was the better point guard (which is probably why Paul plays Phoenix with a chip on his shoulder.) Injury has hampered Deron THIS season, but is C3PO really saying that taking Williams over Paul was worse than Seattle taking Sam Perkins over Michael Jordan?! Come on. How about worse than the Jazz taking Raul Lopez over Tony Parker?

There is no next year

The Jazz have to get it done this year.

The Truth @ CP30

You were right it was a bad draft if you are Milwakee #1, Atlanta #2 and Charlotte #5, the other top five teams in that draft. Remember D-will was 2nd team all NBA last year which is pretty good and not a bust by anyones means. Also chosen for top 12 spot on the olympics. Did you see Bogut, Williams, or Felton in any post NBA awards? Talk to those teams, they will say they blew it. It was actually Paul and Williams that made GM's re-think how they draft. Hence the drop of big men in this past years draft class! You can't count what D-will has done this year injured in your equation.

CP3O

D-will is just another Jason Kidd. Big, strong, slow, good assist guy, but a better outside shooter. That's really a good thing, except I for one would rather have CP3. Ankle or not - Devin Harris will light him up every time.
I am 100% confident that if the Jazz drafted CP3, nobody here would be saying we should have drafted D-will. Your hearts are thinking - not your brains.
Besides #12 and others in the Jazz organization wanted CP3. Nuff said.
I can't hear the circus clown music now - can you?
