They need to let Rhimes go, not Knight.

Terry

Like rats from a sinking ship....

ABC show keep TR Knight and Katie Heigl and fire Shonda and all the writers. They can find better script ideas on the Grey's Anatomy fan fiction boards than we've had for the last 3 seasons. ABC should hire some of these talented writers.

One day TPTB will learn to listen to the viewers before it's too late...unfortunately I don't think they will learn before Grey's flat lines...again.

Carly

The show is going down. Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang is the only remotely interesting storyline.

Agree, the writers not the actors should go.

California

I'd be happy to see Katherine Heigl go. Dissing the writers to stump for more attention was atrocious. She should have been fired on the spot and made a poster child for ingrates.
As for T.R. Knight -- good riddance.

Michael

Maybe Denny Crane's Boston leagal , should shoot up the place and have sex with all the actors that might give some life to the show

Claire

To promote your show all summer and the end of last season on your leads and core couple (Ellen Pompeo) Meredith Grey and (Patrick Dempsey) Derek Shepherd only to use them both less than a minute per episode has been a HUGE issue for fans this year. Instead of doing as the creator had promised last season and have them in a very real relationship "for good", we get nothing of the show's namesake nor the tv couple used to sell the show since day one. The lack of them while the addition of a half dozen unneeded characters and unreal story lines has been the show's biggest downfall this season.

Maybe next they'll get story ideas from Ugly Betty.

Mike

Shonda Rhimes does not listen to the fans and let's her ego run the show which ran out of original story lines 2 seasons ago. It won't be long until Patrick Dempsey bolts. He is completely under used and what he wants for his characters (a back story, character growth, and committed relationship with his tv other half Meredith) is just completely disregarded no matter how many times he has said that would make him happy as an actor. The actors input is not listened to nor are the fans. Shonda Rhimes should be booted. She has ruined her own show

Cheryl

This show is about to lose another viewer. The story lines are beyond ridiculous this season. I really liked the first couple of years-it's a shame it's become such a mess. I feel sorry for the actors involved. I don't blame any of them for wanting to jump ship before the boat sinks.

Sleeper in Seattle

A yawner from the get-go. Even the defibrillator can't save this one.

Clear!!

Dr. K--where are you?????

Grey's Anatomy needs just one thing--an immediate visit from Dr. Kevorkian, and a shot of something lethal. Oh, let it be soon. Maybe he could also do a little something for the cast--the gag-factor they produce, singly and collectively is astonishing.

This is for ABC. Your entire program scheduling is DOA and your attempt to DUMB DOWN television is the greatest boom for PBS ever. Thanks, as we are watching much less TV now. Great for the home projects. They will now get done ane we will help the economy by buying supplies from Home Depot.

I still love it

I have and will be a fan of this show. I agree that the actors and fans are not being listened to, but would be sad if the show was taken off the air. I still love my thursday night love affair.

I have watched Grey's since inception and now find it becoming downright silly. Can't believe Izzy and her latest bizarre behaviour.I really enjoyed Kathrine but now !!!! Really. Get Shonda out before she ruins the show completely. What's with all the lesbian relationships?

Cindy

From what I have read, Shonda does not write for Grey's anymore, but for Private Practice to get it going...maybe she needs to go back.
I would like the fans to be listened to more as well. Bringing back Denny was nice since he is hot, but the story line is disturbing.

Still a fan

A great end to George would be to create a situation where his fellow residents have to save him from an accident and fail. I think we could save the show if Shonda focused on: Mer and Der getting married (so they actual have a storyline), Mer and Lex getting close b/c of her relationship with Sloan, and at the height of Christina's new relationship bring Dr. Burke back. We are far enough estranged from the original character that a re-cast would be acceptable. It would be interesting to see Burke's dynamic with ex-girlfriend Christina, and his effect on Sheppard and sloan's friendship. Then you can get rid of the new cardio character who isn't horrible but no one is a fan of either. I'd love to see more of Dr. Bailey's family too. We spent a season examining her personal life and then nothing. She still has a kid and going through divorce right? Also, have the clinical trial patient return as well... there has to be some consequence to forcing a virus into someone's brain besides just eliminating the tumor right?... Besides, she's an amazing actress.

Actually, Jerry Espenson was a "socially awkward but talented LAWYER," not surgeon. I think the ol' cut and paste got away from you.

I also think your information wasn't very reliable regarding Heigl's reactions (or lack thereof) to Washington's slur, because Heigl was very public about her support of Knight and her disapproval (actually, disgust) of Washington's behavior.

Anyway, to me, ABC as a whole has jumped the shark with some of their choices. Getting rid of Boston Legal, but leaving Private Practice? What? Grey's Anatomy may not be top-notch viewing right now, but Addison would do better to pack it on up and head back to Seattle.

Nancy

I am not a homophobe or a bigot, just a Mom who started watching the show and was totally turned off by the whole gay issue between the doctors; that was a huge turn off - literally! If the writers need to make a "statement" of their values let them do it in another forum. I want to be entertained not indoctrinated! The show has lost my interest. Do the writers have nothing more interesting to offer than the characters' quirky sex lives? Please!

Donna

I think the writers should get real, and listen to the actors who really make the show. I have stopped watching the show.

Julie

Good! Everyone should go watch Supernatural, which airs at the same time. It's a much better show anyway.
