I couldn't help but notice the obvious favoritism in your game summary postings. CJ Wilcox, the state's leading 5A scorer, who outscored Kyle Collinsworth in the game last night, gets only a brief mention. Kyle gets an article about how great he is when he's sick and the majority of the ink in the summary. Likewise, "star" player Tyler Haws has an off night for Lone Peak, yet he gets all the ink about making 10-10 free throws, etc. when Smith was the high scorer for the Knights. Keep it real.

Once again Adam Driggs is left off another article on Deseret News. He is averaging 32.5 points a game for Bingham. GET IT RIGHT!

For Haws is 12 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and four steals? I'll take that off night by my star player any day of the week and twice on game day.

Haws only attempeted maybe 4 or 5 shots from the field and went 1 for 4 or 5. He went 10 for 10 from the foul line. You cant have an off night when you dont shoot. The box score doesnt tell you how the game was. Knights are struggling without there 3 players over 6 6. Only beating Viewmont by 10 and only being up by 1 going into the 4th is a joke. West Jordan will win 5A.

Hey you forgot Jared Hansen from WJ he is averaging around 45 a game for sophomore :) and there team is pretty good im feeling state championship, year after playoff run, year after state championship, and another one they have a good program and coach under scott briggs

I too detest the shoot 35 times to average 20 pts per game, while the win/loss column sits at .500 or less. I do take issue with your Jordan reference. He delivered. I would argue the Stephon Marbury, or Allen Iverson, where all they deliver is the paper to their own pockets. What's more our high school wannabes are no AI nor Marbury, nor even a deshawn stevenson. Kudos to Haws for keeping his teammates involved. Quiet confidence.

Friel for Riverton has almost 19 a game average, but shoots WAY too much. If the gameplan continues that way for Riverton against a really good team, they'll get blown out.

Sam elder is the man. he shoots from everywhere on the court at about 60%. he plays great d. I would be surprised if he didnt already have some D1 offers. This kid is incredible. I think it all had to do with playin with G baby and Sasoon over the summer!!
