I don't....

think I would the patience for decorating them, I want to eat them right away. Chocolate, God's gift to the world....

Fun and different. I like that Mary's hands show evidence of her working. :o)

Do you know if she just colored the icing for the "black" or if she made a chocolate icing?

Thanks.

Beautiful!

You have a great talent!

Wow Mary you are famous

Mary

I didn't use any food coloring in these cookies. The only color comes from cocoa. At Baker's C and C you can get a really dark cocoa that gives the cookies that great color.

Thanks, Mary. I was wondering about the coloring/chocolatizing (lol) of the decorative icing.

I'm making snowflakes and snowpeople tonight. :o)

Congratulations Mary!!! Your cookies always taste as good as they look. This is a great article. Jackie

Great photos of Mary's creations! In person they are even better ... because of course you can't eat a photo, no matter how good it is.

I can testify that these are the best cookies, I get them as gifts from Mary and I nibble on it all day, it's like a brownie on a stick but the taste is so delicious w/the icing that I can smell them just by looking at the pictures. We are very proud of Mary's talents. She will be very successful w/all that she does. Love you Mary!

I made these last night with my kids. I don't think you need the extra 1/2 cup dark cocoa--they were extremely chocolatey! (Yes, something CAN have too much chocolate!) Next time I'll just use the regular cocoa.

We made small cookies with white frosting and they were very good.
