A shame to not have that lake -- so pretty from a distance -- and not have it as the jewel of the valley. Get the carp out, and please keep the Sierra Club as far away from this deal as possible. Yeesh...
While the Commission only has coordination authority, this is a major step forward. The power is in the individual entities or agencies with jurisdiction and hopefully the significant issues can be coordinated through the commission. A causeway would have to be coordinated through all, and it would be such a monumental disaster from an environmental and fiscal perspective it would die real soon.
for not including the Utah Lake causeway. That is a cosmically bad idea and does not merit serious consideration.
