Scott D. Pierce: MSNBC names Buttars 'worst person in world'

I thought Foxnews was a little tilted until I saw MSNBC!
By the way, I thought Olbermann lost his job, and they put him in sports or something???
Get a job where I'm not the one paying you! You're not worth my dollars!
Behar is yet another entertainer with a much higher opinion of herself than the rest of the world.
As for the making fun of Mormon thing, as soon as Mormons stop telling everyone that they are the only people who have the correct answer the "attacks" will stop.
But if you ask me, the sword has two edges, and Mormons just do not want to admit that they are antagonistic.
It was all over the news - but you don't watch the news, do you? (Otherwise, you'd know more about MSNBC directly, rather than taking hate-radio's POV for it.)
Keith made an excellent point: If the government passes a law recommending that merchants say only "Merry Christmas", then someone else can recommend that Jewish and Buddhist temples say only "Merry Christmas".
This far leftist has no problem with anyone wishing me a "Merry Christmas" even if I don't celebrate it. Well wishes should be taken as meant by the giver. But when a government official tries to mandate things such as this even you should have a problem with it. What if the mandate were to require store personnel to wish you Happy Kwanzaa? Might you might take offense at that?
One thing to remember: This was a government session not a religious meeting at which Buttars was speaking. Laws or mandates cannot be made to enforce a religion, or religous activity upon people. If so, what's next: being forced to attend church?
It is beyond me how this babbling idiot continues to get elected. Has the collective intelligence of our voting community really started scraping the bottom of the barrel? I know we have people capable of providing much better representation.
Oh - and someone should inform Buttars that we are NOT a Christian nation (and by this I am not saying Christianity is bad). This was a nation founded on the principle of religious freedom not for practicing one specific overall religious ideology which is quite different. Even though many early citizens were Christians this does not a Christian country make.
And since when is it Anti-Christmas to say Happy Holidays? This phrase is generally meant to include the whole season from Thanksgiving to New Years and for some to include persons of all faiths in their merry wishes. Which, in actuality, is the more Christian thing to do.
People need to quit being so touchy and offended. I'm not Jewish but I don't get offended by Menorah displays or any other religious holiday greeting.
A few years ago religious people (I am one too) were making a craze of not commercializing Christmas. Now, a guy is making it a point of government to pass a suggestion that we DO commercialize Christmas? Are there no Jews in West Jordan? Is Butters representing them too?
For some reason the enlightened-progressives want to change things.
Now, thats change we can believe in.
Should our goal in life be to make Keith Olbermann happy?
Note:
It may not be as big an honor as you may think. Buttars was the 'DAILY' winner of Olbermann's "Wost Person in the world award". So that means there are 356 winners of Mr Olbermann's "Wost Person in the world award" every year. That gets to be a pretty large group fast.
And we are supposed to believe only Rush Limbaugh's show contains negativity or divisiveness? So what's with this "WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD" award he gives out daily??? Sounds like those whining about conservative talk radio's negativity don't have much room to complain when their shock-jerk does the same thing in his programs.
Buttars is not telling businesses what to say. On the contrary, hes telling businesses that they are wrong to prohibit their employees from saying Merry Christmas. But a few of you, with your mock outrage and derision (and sometimes under multiple names), are merely taking advantage of this as a convenient jump-on-Buttars opportunity because you disagree with some of his other political or moral views.
Seriously, how is it a good idea to vote for such a bigot? How does that thought process go? Works to pass legislation to descriminate against gays- check. Makes disparaging comments about blacks- check. Marginalizes people of religions other than his own- check. Sure, I'll vote for this guy. Sounds like the kind of guy who can represent all constituents, not just the one's who look just like him. After all, all men are created equal.
What's embarrassing is that all our other great conservative Utah legislators were left off his list.

What are you babbling about?
Their advice/opinions and $1.06 will get you something off the dollar menu at Micky D's.
At least it made me feel better.
These two people are Larry Kings favorite souls on earth. Larry king is married to a Mormon. Does he mock his wifes underwear?
How is this bigoty tolerated in the aging mind of Larry King? It's time that he corrects them and stops turning over his show to them.
I won't attend another stadium of fire until he is off the board of directors, or cuts loose these twerps from his favs list.
Try mocking the sacred garments of other faiths, Cowards. It's open season on everything Mormon.
It's OK we've handled tougher thugs than these.
If we only had more like him!
Seriously, people, some of you need your heads examined.
Keith Olbermann just wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
