2008 All-State Volleyball Team: MVPs share common trait

1) HOW DO the DN and Trib pick these teams and HOW is the MVP picked. I think its a fair question since it would clear up a lot of this nonsense.
2) I'm sure Richfield and South Sevier played in the pre- or regular season....what were the scores?
As for how and who picks the team good question, obviously no one who follows the teams very closely.
Or will it?
Not that it matters, however the first time Richfield and South Sevier met was in a pre-season Dixie Tournament. South Sevier won best two out of three. The next time they met was in region play and Richfield won by two in FIVE games. The SVC tourney was also by two in three games. State was the fifth time they met and everyone that was there knows what happened. Congrats to all of the players on all teams. It takes a team for these girls to be recognized and these blogs should remain positive! I'm sure that all of these fine athletes know that without their teammates nothing would be possible. Sports teach life lessons and character. There are a lot of fine young women that participate in high school athletics and they come from fine parents. Again, congrats to both Richfield and South Sevier teams.
POWER TO THE PEAK!
