Who's letting Willy come back on that torn ankle? Is it O'Connel? This is very diheartening, very sad.

Williams should let the ankle heal before he comes back.
Daniel | 8:25 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Larry Miller will never let the Jazz go. He's already shown that he'll sink endless amounts of his own money into this team.
Miles | 8:28 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
We are playing Memphis. Williams doesn't need to return against them. He should take Boozer out for a early Thanksgiving dinner and have a few good laughs at the expense of the Jazz front office. I mean, really, where else can you never show up for work and get paid millions. Boozer could write a book. Take off your skirt and get the floor. Both or you!!
Miles | 8:30 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Opps to all you Mile's haters....It should have said "Both of you". Yes I was wrong. Well actually, I just had a type-o, cause I am never wrong.
Miles | 8:30 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
CJ goes for 30 tonight!!!
Get Over It | 8:38 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
D-Will is a very important part of this team but please lets not treat his return as the second coming of Christ. This is a team sport after all, and he is merely a team member. This hype over one player is disgusting. Make it simple please-heal, therapy, and return when ready. We do need you and others to be at our best, but life goes on when your not there. This was made into way too much of a big deal for me to stomach. Good luck TEAM.
BoOoO | 8:49 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I really hope that if Deron plays, he's closer to 100% then it sounds. The last thing we need is for this to drag on throughout the year. It will be nice to see him on the court again. I say miles gets 18 tonight with two three-pointers :] and Milsap gets another double-double.
Your Mom | 8:56 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Is anyone out there a Jazz fan? Whatever happend to getting behind your team and everyone on it? I am excited to get D-Will back and Boozer too. Sure Boozer is not the best defender, but he spreads other teams' defenses and breaks down their zones. With everyone back, the Jazz can grab homecourt advantage for most of the playoffs.

Remember all of the complainers who ragged on Sloan always wanting to have three point guards on the team? I think we can understand now.
Re: Your Mom | 9:31 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Have you noticed where the Jazz stand at the moment? If the playoffs were to begin today, the Jazz are the #6 seed in the Western Conference. Wake up! Even with the team at full strength, the Denver Newgets, and the Portland Tailchasers are probably superior teams in their division. There are a few other minor issues, like the Spurs, Lakers, New Orleans, etc., etc. If you want to be pie in the sky, as in apple pie, chevrolet, and Mom....then be my quest. You will be living the ongoing lie that Jazz diehards keep trumpeting.

As I always say....the Jazz are entertainment....the only professional team in this area. We are fortunate to have them...thanks to Larry Miller...and also thanks to Jerry Sloan and his staff, who can keep the wheels on a sorry lineup. Hopefully Deron's ankle is up the getting back to the wars. Don't we have people who know how to tape ankles in the Jazz locker room? The guy who is masquerading as the trainer should be ashamed of himself. He looks like a whoosh. Can't the jazz hire a trainer who looks like a semblance of physical fitness. He is a joke.

Re- Re: Your mom
Are you serious? I think its great that they would be 6 right now. If you would have said we'd be 9-6 with this many injuries I wouldn't have believed you. Plus last time I checked we beat Denver and Portland this year with our injured team. We are 15 games into the season and I am already sick of all you bandwagon fans. Once we get healthy and get on a run, we don't want you guys coming on here stating to be fans. There needs to be a rule on this board, if you have no basketball iq don't get on here and talk like you do. This Miles kid, as dumb as some of his post are still has a bball iq. And tell me this, what has Portland done to be crowned the next best thing? Yeah they are good, but if you listen to any nba expert they aren't on our level.

Go jazz and welcome back Dwill
Old Port | 10:06 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Wow....I just dont think I am going to read the comment section anymore. Let's give some positive feedback....why do you think they are so good at home....because we cheer. What if everyone just sat their and sighed and rolled their eyes and heckled Jerry? Simply ridiculous.
BoOoO | 10:21 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
You can't be serious to say that the Denver Nuggets and the Trailblazers are superior teams. Do you even watch basketball? First of all we are what, fifteen games into the season? We have been playing through tons of injuries and still are top six in the west. The only ones that need to "Wake UP!" are people like you (Re: Your Mom and all the other trolls on here). No one is saying "JAZZ ARE NBA FINALS CHAMPS FOR SURE THIS YEAR!" They are merely cheering for their team. Which happens to be a great one and easily capable of getting home court advantage for the playoffs (You act like this is the Wizards or Thunder). You obviously need to think through your response, because your views are the ones that sound ridiculous.
re: re your mom | 10:30 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Lets get it right. The Jazz are not the only "professional" team in the area. The Grizzlies, Blaze, Bees and even RSL are pro teams. The Jazz may be the only Major League team in town, but the only professional team. Also, Gary Briggs is one of the best trainers in the NBA. Deron injured his ankle landing on Derrick Rose's foot, so nothing could have prevented that injury, other than Rose getting his foot out of the way. Same goes for Harpring's knee and Korver's wrist.
Jimmy Z | 10:35 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I love watching D Rose for the Bulls what a player.
I love watching D Will , but I have to say he looks
better on the bench with his suit on, than off.
Those tattoos....are awful looking
Tommk | 10:38 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Your mom is an Idiot! this jazz team is far advance then the portland and denver combined. just waite until the end of season when other team will fall and jazz will come back on top. Stand by your team haters"s!!!!
Miles: 8:30 | 10:39 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Did you say CJ will score 3 tonight?
Miles | 11:04 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
When is the last time CJ scored 3 points? Oh you meant to say, he would score 3's all night. He will torch Memphis tonight. Even BoOoOo thinks we will have 18. I amm sticking with my 30 along with 5 boards and 3 steals. Portland and Denver better than the Jazz. I think he meant to say that Lakers and Celtics are better than the Jazz. Yea, I am sure that was what he meant to say. Reason is that they play defense.
yup | 11:23 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
For the record, RSL is a major league team, they are an MLS team, Major League Soccer. But still... who wants to see that? ...queue the "winning the special Olympics" analogy.
Long season ahead... | 11:24 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I want Williams back, and the Jazz need him to be 100% if they are going to be contenders this year. Unfortunately, this sprain is very severe, and I believe that it will continually hamper Williams all year. I doubt that he will ever get to 100% this year, as continuing minor damage and sprains will probably follow. The rest of this team will need to step up!!
JaZZed | 11:42 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Any one who posts that the Jazz are going to the NBA finals is wearing rose colored glasses....anyone who posts that the Jazz are leaving town or that they won't make the play offs should be on medication.

Lets give these guys a month of having their starter's back & healthy and then we can see where this team is before we all get really excited or pissed. Brewer looks better,Milsap looks improved, AK is energized, D-Will may be even better, we haven't seen him yet, CJ's confidence is up this year. We could be significantly improved or we could be cursed with injuries? One thing we won't know is how good the Jazz are until everyone is playing. We still need a trade for a defensive 4 or 5 and front court depth....KC let's get something done....Harpring,Collins,Almond all have expiring deals...move um, move um, move um....

P.S. thanks to Isiah Thomas, one of the dumbest execs in the NBA, for that 2010 1st Round pick. It's looking like it may be a good pick at this point!!
Go D-Willis | 12:48 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Re Miles
I think you meant to spell OOPS not OPPS. Add another type-o to the books man haha! GO JAZZ!
magnus | 12:53 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I really am exited to be a Jazz fan right now. I think once the Jazz get healthy they will be a significantly better team than they where last year.

I would be giddy about the Jazz prospects if the Lakers and the Celtics didn't look so freaking tough. Defense is the biggest difference between those teams and the Jazz, specificaly interior defense. I think with the personel the Jazz have they are capable of playing good, but not great defense and while I think it is possible, it will be tough to beat eather of those teams in a seven game series without playing great defense.

I'm going to hold out hope that once everyone is healthy and the lineups stabilize the team can come together and create some defensive synergy.
jazzd | 4:34 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008
thanks for a lot of you clearing up the nuggets, trailing blazers remark. neither is in the jazz's class when we are healthy. the blazers future should look bright with all the top picks they have had year after year. credit the jazz people for keeping the jazz out of the lottery for most years and putting a quality team on the court despite all the injuries. Millsap, Miles, Korver, AK, to name a few are here because front offce people did thier job well. lets be positive like so many of you said.
GTO | 5:20 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008
He is a talented, handsome young man! Why would he put all those ugly tats all over his body? He would be so much better looking without all that unattractive graffiti! What was he thinking?
DenLand | 6:19 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I am not that concerned about Denver and Portland right now. They are better but so are the Jazz when healthy.

Just having Knight is an improvement. K2 is also an improvement. Plus Brewer, SAP and CJ look a lot better and Memo and AK appear to have stepped it up a notch.

The big question is how will this team match up with LA, SA and maybe the Rockets. Those teams have big front lines that can give the Jazz problems.

JaZZed is right we need a good 4/5. We also need another 3 point shooter in case Korver is hurt or cold. CJ or Almond may grow into that role over the year.
